A great fight, and an excellent left hook by PBF to get the job done with the huge first KD.

I had Hatton by a point 86-85 going into the 10th. He had what he wanted, and he even was up despite the BS point deducted from him when PBF turned his back on him.

RH was winning, and actually should have won the fight, which was why PBF was so thankful at the end of the bout.

But you have to credit PBF. He was on his heels much of the night but he dug down deep, and despite things not going his way, he got the KO.

Hatton will never forgive himself for his mistake, but that is the price you pay. PBF is a potshotter, and if you give him too good of an opening, you can get KD and KO'd, even by him.

I was surprised at how well Hatton fought; he was all over PBF from the beginning. But he left himself too open and got caught.

Props to PBF -- that was a hard-ass fight, and I've never seen PBF that unsettled since Castillo I.

I'd love to see a rematch, but it won't happen. PBF is too smart for that.

Props to both men. It was a brawl, and fun as hell. PBF -- props, even if it was at 147.

Well no, Hatton was not winning or even close to.

But true respect due to both guys.

No, I never had PBF ahead in the fight, not once. He was tied twice, I think, but he was never ahead.

Sometimes, pot-shotting pays off. As does getting a guy to move up to where he is not at his best.

Props to both men. Great fight -- Hatton is saying right now that this is not his weight. PBF made the right choice making RH go up. That said, I think Hatton is the better fighter, and if they fought again, he would not make that mistake again.

Still, props to PBF. He took victory from the jaws of defeat.

Yeah, it's apparent that some people don't know how to score fights. I can't believe people gave Hatton points for his ineffective aggression.

I can't believe people gave Hatton the first round after landing only 5 shots and 2 of them meaningful.

Certainly the judges never had it close, it was all Mayweather according to them. I only saw parts of the fight as the Sopcast broadcast froze up much of the time.

    Give me a break.

And Hatton didn't let anything get away, Floyd took it from him and put him on ***** street.

Hatton was never close to being ahead besides possibly after the first round.. I had it something like the official judges, 8 rounds to 2 for Floyd...

Anyone who had Hatton ahead in that is a complete idiot. It was an absolute masterclass in boxing from Floyd.

i agree. the only reason why i might have scored it different from 3 rounds to 2 is because my feed was a little choppy the early rounds utnil i watched it on romanian tv.

i had pbf 88-83 it was a pot shot clinic and evry round hatton was feeling the punches more and more...86-85 the aggression was not effective by rick.

Hatton was not even in the fight. He just came to hold Mayweather tonight.

I've been scoring fights for almost 20 years -- give me a break.

I am not, and have never been, impressed with 'pick your spot' guys. That's why I felt Cotto lost down the stretch against Shane. The guy coming forward makes the fight, and the other guy has to clearly establish superiority on the back foot or he should not get credit.

That is as good a fight as I have ever seen Hatton fight, even against a naturally larger, great fighter.

As I said, I had it 86-85 going into the 10th. PBF showed heart. He dug down deep and came back to get the "W." That was about as gritty a performance as I've ever seen PBF give, which was why he was so ecstatic after the fight. He knew he was fortunate to come out with his '0.'

Props to him. But I have more respect for Hatton now than I ever have, and I am much more certain that Margo would tear PBF apart. If Hatton mauled PBF that much, Margo would destroy him. No chance that fight happens, especially after tonight.
