Don't agree - His pre fight diet finally caught up with him and he had zero punch resistance after Collazo at 140. Against Castillo? He was paid off. Even Paulie had him in trouble, we all know what happened last time out

IMO the best fight he could take is against a small welter with no punch. I just cant think of one right now!

He was absolute **** and beaten back to 140 by Collazo. Had a 140 like Maidana existed you would never have seen a May or Pac payday.

    timing and luck are everything.

Thats the thing, he isnt able to do much without a size advantage. When he first jumped up to 147 it was because he said he was having a hard time making 140. Then when he got at 147 and didnt perform well he said he was too small for 147. Well what the **** are they supposed to do make a 143 weight class for him?

For the people saying hes too short for a welter, fine he was a jr welter but he was always too big for lightweight. It shows how limited he was that he couldnt even jump one weight class and be competitive.

I thought he had been looking poor for a while before the Mayweather fight, regardless of weight. His one punch and hold tactic was awful to watch.

I would favor any of the top welters to stop Hatton fighting at 147.

I dont think his legacy is underrated but I think he is underrated as far as what he has left. People keep saying punch resistance this punch resistance that, but he gets hit too ****ing easily. Pac was able to tee off on him as much as he wanted and those were clean fast shots from all angles. PBF broke him down and was able to land clean flush shots because he comes in head first with his hands low.

I dont think his chin is terrible and he lost to the best guys, I think he can still fight on if he wants to he just aint going to beat anyone good at 147 or the elite guys like Pac and PBF.

He also needs to find a good trainer if he wants to keep fighting.

Exactly, tho he actually looked ok against Floyd apart from being a bag of nerves bf the fight - I honestly think he wd have lasted the distance with a different ref but thats another story innit

maidana? why becuase he hits hard, what about koysta or urango they hit hard too. he may be past it now, but it's funny how before pac he never came close to losing at 140, but now the revisionists have every past and present 140 fighter beating him in his prime.
