people like to say hatton was on his way out against lazcano, which i think is nonsense. there were a couple of hairy moment but thats it. don't think he was ever in that much danger. by rights ricky should have all he needs to give malignaggi a bit of a kicking.
Vince Phillips and Eamon Magee both had Hatton in far worse trouble than Lazcano did - Thaxton did as well, albeit for different reasons.
I'm a big Hatton fan, but he WILL unravel very quickly at some point in the future. I reckon it's worth a bet on Paulie to win on points if the odds are goods here in the UK which they should be
you could be right, but i'm stuggling to work out how he'll beat hatton. his only hope is to box and run, but i just think hatton will hunt him down. maybe if he nicks the first few rounds and hatton loses his discipline. hatton by UD i reckon.
Hatton will still be able to cut the ring off from Paulie, this could be a tight fight, but Hatton by UD for me.
Glass - Amir Khan Weak - Audley Harrison Below average - Herol Graham Average - Frank Bruno Above average - Danny Williams Good - Ricky Hatton/Lennox Lewis Very good - Joe Calzaghe Titanium - Antonio Margarito

You do realise that Joe had only been taken the distance once before he fought Eubank? Co-incidentally, that guy was Chris Eubank's cousin, and was, wait for it..... A cruiserweight.
i was impressed with his head movement in the clip. In his last fight against that journeyman, he stopped moving his head and got caught a few times. He would've lost that night to any top 5 jr.welter. As a fan I'm hoping as much as anything that Mayweather has given him that upperbody/neck/head movement he had a couple of years back
I'm not a big Hatton fan, but I think he takes Paulie without too much trouble. Paulie's main claim to fame is going the distance with Cotto, and I'm always reserved about guys who are thought to have put on their best performance in a loss. Hatton's been in with better guys and while he didn't look great against Lazcano, I think he's a level above Paulie.
