Dear God! Bearing in mind that Hatton is the champ at 140 and Pac has said he will never fight below that weight again then who else is there out there? What better fight is there for him than Hatton? If you're going to say a third bout with JMM then fair enough, there is a case for it. If not then who else? Holt? Bradley? Juan Diaz? Campbell? Even the top guys at welter wouldn't earn him half the money and probably wouldn't be half as winnabe fights either!

All those fights are bigger in North America which is the only place any of them are going to take place.

    That is very unlikely.

What do you mean all of them ? You only mentioned 2 . I filled in the blanks with Margarito, which would not be a bigger fight.
The only fight that could be bigger INTERNATIONALLY ( remember, boxing is an international sport ) is Mayweather - Pacquaio . And even that wouldn't be that much bigger.

Why on earth you think Hatton isn't deserving of a shot against Pacquaio is beyond me. And you still haven't come up with a reasonable answer.

You will struggle to find anyone who thinks Hatton does not deserve this fight or is not good enough to get in the ring with Pacquaio

If it makes you feel better, just knock the Statue of Liberty down and put Pacman on there instead.....

Does Pacquiao deserve a shot at Hatton?

He hasn't beaten anyone of note above 130, why should he jump to the front of the queue to challenge for the 140lb title?

He would probably then have a go at Margarito for ducking someone else

Well in terms of boxing they both have things going in their favour. Pacquiao is much higher on the p4p rankings than Hatton so you could say he deserves the lions share. However, Hatton is the linear champion in the weight class this fight is suppossed to be taking place in so really you could argue it in Hatton's favour when talking about who gets the bigger share.

But, since boxing is a business, shouldn't it go down to who brings in the most money? Thats what happened in the Mayweather-DLH fight. If i remember right, didn't DLH get the bigger share even though Floyd was p4p number 1? Does anyone know who is the bigger draw between Hatton and Pac?

As for Hatton not deserving a shot at Pac and not having many "super-fight" options i believe you are wrong. Hatton is the 'linear' 140 champ and a top 10 p4per so is therefore more deserving of a shot against Pac than the very average 135lb 'titlist' David Diaz. He is also not so post-prime as the walking corpse DLH making this a very viable fight.

Anyway, even if Hatton was a **** boxer, boxing is about money and Hatton is one of the biggest crowd pullers in the sport so there are many "super-fights" out there for him whether he is deserving of them or not.

    Only blinkered Hatton haters..

Pac-Man needs Hatton if he wants to campaign in JWW he's the champ,if not lets see who else is there?
PBF:A fight he could easily lose
    Marquez:Third time lucky for Juan?
    Margarito:Suicide
    erm....
Pac-Mans lawyer/advisors"Ricky he will take that fight now sorry!!!"
Pac-Man"I very sorry for being greeedy boy..!"

Hatton should fight Juan or even Holt **** Manny

Doesn't matter if Manny loses to Margarito or any other top WW. He will get a pass for being to small and still be #1 p4p. As for Mayweather, win or lose, there is no way he will be made to look as foolish as Hatton did.

True. Margaito's been ducking Williams since even before they're first fight. Might be because Paul beat up Margo in sparring and got sent home.

    Very good point.

I love Pacquiao. He has had a remarkable career and is without doubt the p4p number one fighter in the world but he really has achieved dick all above 130 to warrant a shot at the linear 140 champ.

If David Haye gets **** for having one HW fight then gets a shot at a Klitschko then surely Pac should get the same treatment?
