Whatever gets you through the night. I'd say you're somewhere between step 1 (denial) and step 2 (anger) of the five stages of grief. Give it a couple of months and eventually come to accept that Hatton was beaten by the better man.

Ricky Hatton --- the dirtiest fighter today.
He comes in with his head and got some of his own medicine.
His only chance was === not to box, but to roughy Floyd up, lean on him, wrestle, push him all over the ring, head butting etc.
Well he got some of his own medicine and got knocked out.

    it shows hattons true colours.

when everything is going just the way he likes it, he is classy.

but once that is not the case, he turns into a whining *****.

that ***** should put on a dress.

Hatton sucks, there's nothing he could do to beat a fighter like Cotto, Mayweather or De La Hoya in their prime.

    Gatti > Hatton.

If a fighter is that badly limited to where all he can do is fight on the inside and win....its sad......understand if you want to fight on the inside look at Corrales Castillo....thats fighting on the inside....neither one attempted to grab one another just shots.....soon as Hatton got on the inside he didnt even throw a punch he was trying to just bully Floyd to the ropes then work....it dont work like that....if he is going to fight on the inside he needs to start throwing soons he gets in range not get in range then lean on the fighter and try and orce him to the ropes....HE LOST ON HIS OWN MERRIT.

Hatton needs to own up to his poor perfomance and not use a fukking ref as a crutch.

For one thing Floyd isn't a naturally bigger guy.. He started his career at 130.. Hatton has been fighting his whole career at 140.. Hatton walks around at 175lbs when he's not training and Floyd walks around at 150. The only thing Floyd got on Hatton is HEIGHT that's all. Hatton is the naturally bigger man.

1 - Did you didn't watch the fight, because that's totally untrue. PBF was beating Hatton on the inside time and time again.

2 - Ummm actually, Mayweather only put his forearm up to keep Hatton from kissing him and banging his big ass head into his face. Watch Hatton as he leaps in HEAD first time and time again. Cortez didn't do a thing about that because PBF had the cure... the forearm. Both fighters were using dirty tactics, too bad for Hatton his tactics were neutralized.

3 - The point deduction was for intentionally trying to tag Floyd in the back of the head. Hatton deserved that. As for Hatton initiating the forearm... leaping in head first definitely deserves a forearm to the face.

I was rooting for Hatton and had him winning 2 of the first 5 rds but could tell he was starting to get outclassed. no chance for him to beat floyd that night as mayweather was in top form. but that said Cortez was deplorable in the early going. I feel Hatton was smothering his work because it was the only spot where he wasnt getting hit. he fought gamely but was out classed. He has handled defeat well and not once hasnt said he was beat by the better guy. his style doesnt work against the bigger guys at 147 needs to be able to out physical his opponents which is what he did with kosta and castillo

Hatton did handle himself like a little *****. Calling fouls, what a little *****. As much as he fouled in his career, hell, if he would have fought Tszyu in America he would never be champion.

You didn't watch the WHOLE fight because even though, yes, Floyd WAS beating him on the inside later on, early on Cortez was breaking them up before either man could beat the other on the inside. that set the tone.

Ummm actually you don't understand boxing and don't know the rules if you seriously think that. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and believe you only said it for the sake of your argument.

Actually I changed my mind. You clearly don't know the rules.

So you believe that Hagler was naturally bigger than Hearns then?
