Come to think of it, Cortez WAS bad (certainly by his standards) in that fight. But it wasn't just one way: he let Hatton get away with way too much holding. It's one thing to clinch; it's even one thing to use mauling as an offensive weapon; but in the middle rounds Hatton was just taking the ****.

It wasnt the ref that KO'd Hatton its was mayweather's ability and right hand. Thank God, that teh referee wasnt allowed to determine the outcome. Becasue that referee was clearly BIASEED AND WRONG. his actions were at times so blatant that his integrity as being fair is SHOT TO HELL:good

Mayweather would still have won the fight no matter what Cortez done

But it is a FACT that Cortez reffed this bout completely differently to the Hatton V Castillo fight. A Ref needs to be consistent, you can't allow things in one fight and not in another, that is why he was poor.

Mayweather wouldve still found a way to win whatever the ( may ) weather because he is that good and that versatile

Exactly he looked dead at Hatton when he said it! He actually kept telling Hatton to watch the hitting on the Back of the head and told Mayweather to watch the elbows!

Hatton ****ed up and Blatantly attacked the back of Mayweathers head! It is hard to distinguish if Mayweathers elbows were intentional because he kept moving his upperbody!

Bad post. Floyd knew Hatton could EASILY knock him out? Based on what? Hatton's Collazo fight? JLC was the only one that he was able to put down early. We all knew Floyed is not gonna get hit as much as JLC. Then you're implying that PBF plan was to wrestle. Are we talking about the same fighter? Have you seen any of his other fights? It was Ricky's plan to wrestle and tire out Mayweather and hope that he could catch him to the body. Also did you see round 4? That was an early round and Hatton was getting beat up. What's your excuse about that?

I bet if you spoke to Hatton, he would be the first to admit, he was outclassed. But he does hav ea point, I think Hatton and PBF were as dirty as each other, though. Although he can't claim it changed the out come of the fight. After the 4th round it was a for gone conclusion.
