There was not ONE POINT in that entire fight that Hatton was leading on the cards, not ONE POINT. You could arguably give him 2 rounds TOP. What it all boiled down to was Hatton getting frustrated because he couldn't bully Floyd around, Cortez was doing a great job keeping it a BOXING match, and that's why Floyd was able to dictate the fight.
No he wasn't. All three scorecards had Mayweather winning. I do agree with Cortez being a little too involved but Hatton was not winning.
nerve? i've nothing to be ashamed of. and no i didn't lose any bet. i must congratulate you though this is probably one of the first posts i've read of yours that didn't bring up race, well done.
he ain't making excuses. this a quote in today's paper from him "Id rather die than retire after losing to Floyd Mayweather. But I cant stand fighters who pile on a load of excuses when it goes t*ts up. The top and bottom of it is I got knocked out and beat by the better man. You can say it was this and that and the other but I got beat by the better man. It wasnt my night. My training camp went absolutely brilliantly. I had the right tactics, the right game-plan, the right everything. I didnt put into practice what I was saying. That is the way it is. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/boxing/article566762.ece
I understand you've never been in a ring. A glove allows you to hit harder without injuring your hand. If you think a gloved punch doesn't hurt I invite you to my gym to see for yourself.
You guys are the sad ones. Ricky is NOT using those things as excuses, he's just saying they happened, which they did. He still says that he lost because Floyd was smarter and he lost his composure. He isn't taking credit away from Floyd that isn't deserved. What fighter EVER doesn't try to find reasons why they lost????
The man who you claimed would break PBF ribs got KTFO by a wicked hook followed by a KO by one of the ring beltbuckles, if that's not nothing to be ashamed then I don't know what is
Hatton should have known he wasn't going to get a fair shake here in the states. I knew it way before the fight was signed. There is no ref in the USA who is going to turn a blind eye to a foreign boxer mauling an American boy. Even if that is Mayweather. And Cortez is a camera *****. No doubt about it. If you think this is the first fight he has interjected himself in way too often, you need to watch more of his work. I do agree though. Just as much as Hatton grabbed Tszyu too much, Mayweather used his elbow consistently over 12 rounds pushing it into Hatton's neck. Karma is a very real thing apparently.
So I guess there will be no complaints if Cotto wins after low-blowing Floyd a couple of times along the way, in return for the elbows vs Hatton? :hey
What relationship does Cotto have with Mayweather?...Cotto is too focused a boxer to waste time making friends with Kes
What realtionship does Hatton have with Tszyu? The comment Ambition_Def made was about karma. There doesn't need to be a relationship.
This is boxing.Floyd isnt no slouch. The Hatton brothers are infamous for the fouled filled fights.Hattons socalled "tactics" worked exactly against him.The irony is bitter for him and thats why his now spitting his dummy out.But what did he expect? Did he think Floyd was just going to ***** and complain? Like Hattons already qouted "its not a tickling contest".
