Hatton,Malignaggi Doubleheader in the works

Yeah actually tell why he sucks in the ring! In this sport you can have an off night- a fighter can be better than their last fight. and he talks a lot of **** because he can get in there with the likes of Miguel Cotto and not get ko'ed and decisively win rounds. He dropped N'dou which cotto did not do. You know? There is a lot that he does have that you are not mentioning, like one of the sickest jabs in the game. Foot speed like young roy jones. Given, his last fight was not a great showing, but he has some of the best combos in the game. The kid has the heart of Micky Ward.

Wait one minute! Every time I hear the Brooklyn fanboy brigade open their mouths its " Hatton's a bum" on the evidence of one mismatched fight. Now if Powderpuff Paulie gets criticised for blatent failings in his in ring performance its unfair.

Hatton is not a god, or even the best 140 pound fight in the UK let alone the world. But from my seat, Hatton gives Paulie a hard blast to the ribs in the 6th round, and the allusion of Malignashitty is gone.

 

I use to like malanaggi good to see a decent italian fighter since gatti... But gatti was exciting and humble fighter. He is a loud mouth loser who couldnt knock out my grandma cause he hits like an angry girl scout. Hatton would kick the **** out of him and N'dou will win the fight again if it happens. Paulie would be a moron to fight him again cause he would get whipped.

 

Amen. Can't believe they need a double-header. Just fight already, this is bull****. It's not like Paulie is the best fight out there for Hatton at the moment anyway so wtf does he need a warm-up for it?

This would be a good tune up fight for Ricky before the one that everyone wants - not even going to say who!

Had Cotto not had to go on hunger strike to make weight, I think there would have been a KO pretty early on!

 

If anything Malignaggi should be viewed as the pay off for the rest of the division. Let the real fighters get it on, with a reward of a few million dollars, a holiday to New York and the oppotunity to break Paulie's jaw.

Why don't they just fight each other? We does anybody need to build up this fight with one of these meaningless double-bills? This match-up ain't exactly Pacquiao-Morales.

 

I would say Hattons chances of KO'ing Malignaggi are significantly greater than 'very, very slim'. The fact that Cotto was unable to do so, bears no significance when evaluating Hattons ability to do so. Boxing is littered with examples of this.

idk about the rest of you but when the hatton hype train began after he beat kostya tszyu i was excited to watch him fight....then i actually saw him fight and he is utterly horrible to watch...collazo beat him..urango fight was to guys hugging for 12 rounds...Castillo fight was ok(KO was great)..and the only reason i watch him fight mayweather was because of MAYWEATHER!

Ive seen Malignaggi fight on espn2 friday night fights early in his career. yes i know he can be annoying when he overly showboats in the ring...but he may be the only person to gain so much for a decision loss to Cotto...and that fight was very entertaining...he manhandled Ndou and will do it again to prob get ready for Hatton...I was at the Ngoudjo fight and i had it 115-113 for Malignaggi but a draw or Ngoudjo decision would not be out of the question.

Hatton will in no way stop Malignaggi and vice versa....but Id have to say Malignaggi by UD 115-113 7 rounds to 5

 

He won't manhandle hatton, i mean christ Kt couldn't do it. Hatton will do a different job on mallinaggi unlike cotto, because cotto was struggling to make 140, I maen that was is last fight at 140 what does that tell you. So if he can mandhandle hatton why couldn't he do it aginst herman and if that mallinaggi shows up it will be all over by the 7th round.
