    Malignaggi 7 - 5 Hatton :patsch

    Don't think so mate

Hatton is very good at closing the ring down - he did it very well against Mayweather early on, but was just shite once he got there, combined with Floyd's excellent defence. He won't have those troubles against Malignaggi, and will wear him down before stopping him.

That's the way I'd expect the fight to go, but of Paulie stands and fights with him, good luck, because you will probably get eaten :D .

    Thats all I will say!

Hatton vs Torres is a good fight that I would like to see and will prob give Hatton an harder fight than Paulie.

I can not see Paulie beating Hatton and a ko would be very likely, still the fight we should be getting is Hatton vs Witter but I have my doubts over Witter vs Hopkins.

the real worry for maglinaggi is that he thinks he has faster footwork than he really does. He cant get away with fooling himself on footwork while compounding it with poor defensive skills.

He acts like a 10 stone Naseem Hamed. Just without the natural footwork, reflex'es and power.

I'll give you this: He does think he is faster than he is, however, he does have pretty substantial speed when it comes to foot and handspeed. Every oponent he has faced in post fight including cotto said he has alarmingingly faster speed than they had imagined. And as for his foot speed- I dont know if it is that he is quick- or just tricky with how quickly he gets so far away so quickly. All that I say is don't judge Malignaggi solely on his last outing. Also, fellow Malignaggi fans- don't judge hatton on his last outing because hatton doesn't have awkward timing, because Paulie is not going to knock out Hatton with a check hook. regardless of the winner (i have it paulie ud 7-5) I think this makes for a fun fight. I say this because the mayweather fight was a good one, the Collazo fight (weather you agree with the outcome or not) was fun to watch, and the Kostya fight was another good one. Styles make fights and this stylistically has the makings of being another great come whatever may.

Trouble is - to beat Hatton you need to be able to stop him in his tracks. All this about Mayweather being fast etc is true, but the reason why he won was because he had enough power to rock Hatton. If your honest, only Floyd has been able to do that, and only Floyd has beaten him.

Hatton could walk straight through him and gobble him up IMO.
