Yes the same Corley that Hatton avoided when he was the WBO mandatory and rather gave up his shot than become a world champ 3 years earlier. Its all drivel.Harris was KO`ed by Maussa whom Hatton destroyed in 9! So what? This is boxing not maths! Cotto destroyed Maussa quicker and in a more convincing fashion.Presumably by those maths we can conclude that Harris is nothing more than a can right? Is that why the fight between Hatton and Harris never went ahead when Hatton was the WBA mandatory and Harris was on a streak? Oh but one minute that was Harris fault because he priced himself out right? Its one excuse after the next with you Hatton drones.Your arguments are moot conjecture and what if`s.Just make the fight happen and no ****ing excuses.

I'd pick witter over the Castillo and Maussa that Ricky beat, but not Tszyu and Collazo.

hatton missed out on some guys along the way.

    big deal.

should he fight witter next? yes i agree he should. witter isn't just a mouth anymore and has won some meaningful fights.

malignaggi is a bigger fight cos he sells big in new york. but hatton should have a homecoming fight and witter in a football stadium would be perfect for that. :bbb

    i'd favour witter over castillo.

castillo with something left in the tank could make it interesting though.

    1. your opinion is irrelevant and purely conjecture, just like all of our opinions. It's totally irrelevant what you think WOULD happen IF they fight. Lets keep that for when it gets signed.

    2. Boxing is littered with grudges and grudge matches, always has been. How many times has a big fight not happended because one guy is upset with the other??:huh . Sounds ridiculous to me.

face it man......it looks far more likely Wicky has been using it all along as an excuse not to face Witter.
If the fight never happens it will badly damage Hatton's rep, at least with those who know anything about the sport.

on second thoughts...i think hatton will only have a chance of selling out wembley against an internationally reknowned opponent like dlh. witter-hatton would be an MEN sell-out at best but would still be the ideal next fight.

he needs to come back and impress in the uk to remuster support before heading off to the states again.

Yes you should because your deluded. You`ve conviniently forgotten that he beat a shot Castillo, nearly lost a UD to Collazo went scuttling back to 140 and got his ass raped vs PBF when he stepped into "real" world class. Now he says he wants to campaign at 140 but he wont face the biggest and best challenger there.Sounds like the resume of a real winner. Now thats a laugh.

It's not hard to become a 2 weight champ with 4 major belts and picking the right champ though.

Whats a laugh is some of the ludicrous posts on here denouncing Hatton as a champ when Witter has fought nobody near the level ricky has. You say Hatton was raped at world class, well what happened when Witter foguht Judah? Got stuck in reverse gear, didnt he? At least Hatton had a go.

Yeah meanwhile when Witter was fighting Judah on 4 days notice Hatton was busy beating up cans calling himself a world champ and making record defences of the WBU.Nice comparison though.
