If you can dunky it would be much appreciated. I'm in Florida Visting family and don't have access to HBO on demand. Ricky once said scotts can kiss his arse. Go Floyd
I once made up that Rickys gran was from Scotland on here Dunk.... I think that might be where the rumour started... lol.
Here's a website that gives you the history of surnames ......(Hatton history) http://www.houseofnames.com/fc.asp?sId=&s=hatton
Haha. Ricky never said Scots can kiss his arse you big **** stirrer Ricky's other gran might be Scottish. I'll try and find out for you.
C'mon Dunky the whole show is about building up the fight. Of course Hatton isn't just going to sit there and say:"Floyd is so great, it is a honour to fight him etc etc." Because of all the trash talking that Mayweather did beforehand. Ricky was complimentary at the start, but he is not going to sit there and take that shite. Of course he is going to run down Floyd and gear himself up. This is all in his mental preparation for the fight. I thought the mocking of Floyd's padwork was funny, as it was impressive the first time I saw it, but it's getting old now. All in all it was an excellent episode, especially the slow motion scene in the gym with Cigarettes and Alcohol in the background. However, I do believe HBO are playing with our heads a bit by portraying Hatton as a little monster who doesn't feel pain and Mayweather as a genius with a fragile body and brittle hands. They want us to think Hatton has a real chance to make us buy the fight. I'm not so sure.
I just thought the padwork thing was funny, nothing more....and it is a little strange that routine of Mayweathers.
Wtf. Those two posts are total bull****. No one is saying hatton is an angel, who the **** would say something like that anyway? Hatton is just a normal guy with a bit of a geezer side, Mayweather on the other hand is an arrogant insecure *****. Everything he says is for show, he doesn't believe anything he says, just says it because he's a clown. Whether or not he'll beat Hatton or not is totally beside the point, Mayweather is a dick and I'm sure he's crying on the inside.
I really can't see how anyone can watch the pressers and then those 24/7s and have a lower opinion of Hatton than they had before the programs. He's come across very well all through the build up and Mayweather has looked like a bit of a ***** who likes being around "yes" men....I really don't see how you can hate the guy based on these programs.:-(
Just never saw Hatton in the same zone as he is now. In one scene hes a lovely fella with his great family in the next hes with Bill G and they are taking the **** out of everything Mayweather **** Hatton, im a Mayweather fan, so when i say i dont like Hatton, thats it coming from a biased fan, il admit that, because in the ring iv always preferred PBF. Now with all the hype around this fight i know im listening out for Hatton to say something stupid, which he does as im sure is the same for you in terms of Floyd... 'Il hit him one of ****in these'' Hatton curses in a tone that annoys me, maybe my patience is wearing thin in anticipation for this fight!!:scaredas:
Thats fair enough, you're a Mayweather fan and probably not being objective out these programs...the very things that you and Dunky are slating Hatton for are the things that are making me laugh.
laugh? LAUGH? Your laughing at Healy & my good self? You will be getting some of this boy:bbb Right Gaz. As I have said, no more wind-ups, no more Tom pettyness from me, everything I will say about hatton is straight true feelings until the fight. The countdown is on, & I aint in the mood for aimless Hatton talk no more! The reason I mentioned Hattons attitude is because Mayweather is supposedly the 'bad guy' for this fight, against 'working class hero' Ricky Hatton. & thats what upsets me. When Ricky disses Floyd? Its ignored. swept under the carpet. However, everything Mayweather has said about Hatton is used as a stick to beat Floyd with. "Floyd said Ricky wasnt in his league, what a horrible guy & an ******* he is" is the kind of comments you will find about Floyd all over. However, when Ricky mocks Floyd & says "wait till he gets one of these" & throws a punch, aah, thats just Ricky being Ricky, great guy & all that jazz. Let me put the shoe on the other foot. If Floyd was to mock Hattons belly bag punching routine & then say "That was useless, wait until Ricky tastes one of these" & threw a right cross, Hattons fans would once again be saying "what an arrogant **** Mayweather is, mocking Ricky like that" Its double standards... Its OK for Ricky to say & do as he pleases but if Floyd does the same? Shame on him, & how dare he be rich into the bargain. Thats where Healy & I are coming from. You may laugh Gaz, but you have to see both sides of the story here.
I don't think so mate, its just a bit of fun before the fight. I really don't see why people are getting worked up about this from either side? IMHO the two stars from those 24/7s are Hatton and Roger....purely from the point of view that they are funny....is anyone GENUINLEY offended by whats been said in the build up to this fight?
