don't lump us all in the same boat olu,i happen to think mayweather is a magnificent fighter and underneath all the trash talk a good lad.i expect him to win,although i think it's going to be a lot closer than people think.let's face it your just miffed with ricky because you think he should be fighting your man,at the moment your coming across just like another hater,rather than the well considered and knowledgable poster you usually are.

Anyone who says Hatton is a fraud really strikes me as been a bit shallow- I've met Ricky loads of times over the years and he really is a nice fella.... he's done wonders for the game in the north of England, he attends the small hall pro shows, he comes to the amateur fights, he gives you advice during and after your fights- he's a good chap and anyone who says any different really needs to question their motives.

 

Why have you resorted to abusing PBF's beloved mother. I will not have Carol Hatton, Hatton's mum being slagged off. For me your attack of PBF's family and mother went below the belt and sickens me. Leave the family and the women out of it unless you can say nice things about them. This is not about my man who will get on the plane and willingly face either man should one of them have to pull out.

 

Nobody doubts that Hatton is a nice enough and likeable lad. In fact the only issue I have on a personality level is that he supports Man City. As a Man Utd man myself I question his taste in football but then again I have issues with Chelsea and Arsenal fans. As for Liverpool F.C. please don't get me started. I don't understand why he likes Bernard Manning though however everyone must bear their cross.

In my view PBF and Hatton are good lads. I admire PBF's skills professionalism and work ethic however a lot of people are hating him for their pre-conceived notions about his personality. If you scratch the surface enough we might have a Larry Holmes versus Gerry Cooney thing going on here.

I apologise unreservedly it was that idiot Steelem or whatever he calls himself that called PBF's mother a C""" after watching 24/7 yesterday. You said I was showing my true colours. You can see why I am annoyed by someone having a go at someone's mother.

 

My view of this fight has never changed having watched a lot of both guys over the years. I actually like both personalities however the people who hate PBF don't try and understand what he has faced and come from. PBF has made a success of his life by paying his dues in boxing. I favour him strongly over Hatton who has always been vulnerable to a skilled fast boxer puncher. Nothing Hatton has done or faced actually prepares him for PBF whereas PBF has faced many similar types to Hatton and therein lies a clue.

For once I have to disagree with you Olu. Hattons boasts are anything but 'out of character' Hatton just plays his captive british audience like fiddles, he really has them believing that they are cheering on the guy from the pub.
Thank **** for 24/7, cos finally people are realizing Hatton isnt the humble guy from the gutter that he constantly tries to pass himself off as.

No problem Dunky the Hatton huggers are going to be crying come Saturday night when PBF does a number on Hatton. I am sure that they already have their excuses lined up. I am not even convinced as you know that Hatton is the best in his division in the UK.

now now Ron, fight time seems to be affecting even the sensible heads on here.
It's nothing to do with Wicky being English. Some of my favourite fighters are English guys, like Witter and Haye.
I just think he's badly overrated, a handpicker and a ducker and fully expect him to get exposed on Saturday. A large part of his fan base know nothing about boxing either....see the interviews with the Hatton fans arriving in Vegas. Also, I think the guy is arrogant.
