I think Floyd was just shockd because thw last time he saw Hatton in person he was fat and quiet , now hes in shape and fired up . Hatton playd the mind game well I think , he cant go over there running his mouth and trash talking , for 1 thats just not him , for 2 he would just be copying Floyd. So Hatton went over to him to to show him a ice-cold look of intimidation , thats his way of getting under Floyds skin. And believe me it workd. When Floyd put his hands on Hattons stomach he reminded me of the scared kid in school who grabs the other kid who hes supposed to be fighting with to stop himself getting smackd.
