Ok each individual round was close but their was a clear winner those first six and that was Mayweather aside from 1 on my card and the 3 on Ledermans card was embarrsing that HBOs high paid judge cant do his job.

I dont think floyd was in trouble in that fight at any point, The wrestlling and the ref to me seems like an excuse, hatton likes to fight on the inside and that is where he likes to do his damage, it was amazing to see floyd's game plan to prevent that from happening..the elbows etc was not cool at all and I am in no way agreeing with that tactic ...but someone mention the difference is class and talent level...however like the voice of 24/7 said.....in this ring the truth will find you...most of the time the better boxer wins..every now and then a punch from around the world can change the outcome and upsets happen but not on that night. Also everyone is complaining about the ref and not letting ricky fight on the inside, I have a question? what if he cant hold and maul pacman on the inside, then what? is that the only way he can win? i think that says more about his skills than style. by the way most of floyd fights are close in the early rounds, he fights from a defense first game plan. I am looking forward to the pacman vs hatton fight. There are a few questions that i have that can only be answered in the ring.

That's what I saw. The fight was never at any moment "close". Floyd controlled every last aspect of the fight from the opening bell to the wave off.

Floyd fought very clever - Hatton was all nerves before the fight and it showed but he did ok considering he was fighting two people that night. It would have gone the distance had it not been for Cortez

I knew when I saw the thread title this was going to be another whine-fest.

For all of you talking about the referee, he wasn't the greatest, but he never really affected the outcome. Are you guys admitting that the only way Hatton can win is with a very lenient ref who will allow him to grapple and wrestle???

There was never any doubt with Mayweather, and he clearly owned that fight. Hatton may have won two total rounds that entire fight. Each round Floyd knew what he had to do to win them, and he did that. Period.

boxing is about boxing, that's what boxers are suppose to do, box.

If a boxer likes to rely on grappling and wrestling, then he deserves an elbow in the face as far as im concerned.

    sorry but it's true.

Exactly. These whiners complain about Mayweathers elbows, but want Hatton to be able to wrestle and grapple his way in a boxing match. Maybe they should be watching MMA instead?

Mayweather wasn't rocked. He tripped going backwards. What a bunch absurd revisionist nonsense in this thread. People still complaining about the weight class despite the fact that both men would have been the same size at 140, and the meme that Cortez was disgraceful for not letting Hatton get a way with his usual series of fouls. :rofl

Get the **** over it. Mayweather wins that fight on any night at any weight with any ref.

did you even watch the fight? the ref was breaking them before they got within 3 foot of each other and was warning and penalising hatton all the time and turning a blind eye to pbf. it was a very biased performance from cortez.

It's ****ing ridiculous. Hatton's style is illegal to begin with. And when there was infighting, Mayweather beat Hatton at his own game.

Only a completely delusional fanboy twat would try to spin that fight as any sort of robbery.
