Pac knocked Hatton in 3 rounds. Floyd struggled up to the 10th. End of story.

and $ may beat jmm more impressively than pac man did (a better younger vesion of marquez at that) and with that said $ mays victory over marquez is a much better win imho for use as a compairson of who would win in a $ vs. pac bout based soley on each fighters proformance vs. common opponent's.

I see a lot of posters say Pac beat Hatton quicker thna Mayweather, so what!

Pac's style is aggressive volume punching (though he ko'd him with 1 shot)

    May's style is counter punching

Hence the Shane fight (Everyone uses JMM example so I decided to use Shane):

Pac had a vrey hard time against Shane, even though he dropped him, b/c Shane isn't a come forward type fighter. He is an aggressive fighter but he uses lateral movement and has, even still, prety quick footwork and feints. That's why even in unaminous decision, Pac didn't look very impressive

Whereas Floyd, with exception of the 2 shots in the second rd, dominated Shane statiscally the whole fight. Why? ... B/c he was able to capitalize off Shane's mistakes (limited offensive skills, same feints, no jab, etc...) And first and foremost, Floyd's offense is often his defense. But what makes him above most good/great fighters in this era, is the fact that he is good enough to handle most situaltions in the ring, wheres Pac stills struggles with polished BOXERS.

Bsaically, the old cliche .... style makes fights.

You should watch some more Tszyu, then. Timing and power was his game. He had more power than Manny, for sure. Wasn't as fast or active as Manny, (by foot or hand) but he definitely had him on the power department.

See my post ... Also, Floyd didn't struggle, he beat Ricky at his own game (inside fighting), took him out of his game (got him frustrated) and broke him down (see rds 8 -10, esp rd8) ... Oh and Pac ko'd Ricky in 2 rds

Hatton had many faults, in his previous fights a glass jaw was not one of them.

He was on UK tv the other night on a programme about sports stars with depression. Said it took him 3 months to bring himself to watch that fight.

Two different types of schooling. I'll tell you this much though, Pac sent Ricky into a drunken coke-induced tailspin and ultimately retirement. So that should tell you which one was more devastating.

I didn't think Hatton had a chance against Mayweather. With his style, he needed to accumulate damage on Floyd. At 147 where Hatton looked like **** against Collazo, there was no way little Ricky was going to be effective against Mayweather.

At 140, I picked Hatton to rough up and beat Pacquiao. And then he gets uber-punked. I wanted to see a war that night, instead nothing... Ricky's style and at that weight class should've made him much more effective with Pac than Mayweather but it was the opposite. I think Ricky landed more punches on Floyd in any round of their fight than he did in either of the two rounds with Pacquiao. Rest in peace Ricky.

He is-JUST CUZ HE STARTED COMING FORWARD DOES NOT MEAN HE CAN'T CHOOSE TO FIGHT OFF HIS BACK FOOT ALA BALDOMIR-

REMEMBER WHEN FLOYD SAIS "I CAN STILL BOX OFF HIS BACK FOOT BUT HE CHOOSES TO COME FORWARD BECAUSE i DON'T HAVE TO STAY AWAY FROM THESE FIGHTERS."

Floyd has lost a small step-Pac is the same:deal
