Was this poll taken before or after the water spitting incident? Hattons popularity declined sharply north of the border after that terrifying display of arrogance.

 

I think you are right, it also must have been done before it came out that Hatton uses real butter on his sandwichs. ****ing man of the people my arse.

 

sure hes a popular guy in scotland but this isnt from proper boxing fans who attend fights or even follow boxing!! Harrison was the most popular and i think if he ever made a comeback he would be again but right now alex arthur is by far the most popular boxer and rightly so as he will soon fly the flag for us on the world scene.

Scott used to get 5-6k at Brahead not regularly though

think the arthur an gomez fight had over 5k, still not as good as rickys. But the atmosphere that was there that night you would have thought there was 55k.
