Towers and Lyon both have title fights coming. Foster Jr was managed to being European champion. Buckland waited around because Gary Sykes had to fulfil a mandatory with Carl Johanneson first. #checkfactsbeforemakingsweepingstatements.

He only wanted to move down to bantam to fight Jamie McDonnell but as that wasn't forthcoming he's decided to stay at SBW.

It was almost a year one mandatory doesn't take a year, Towers has progressed so slowly even by modern HW standards what title fight is it? Lyon has fought once in almost a year too slow progress especially considering he is 29

The Hatton's are ruthless knobheads, not surprised they've turned out to be **** promoters. The only guy worth a toss is Hearn.

It was ten months and Sykes' his mandatory was only six months earlier. Buckland had to wait because Sykes was planning a voluntary in Dewsbury against Paul Truscott but that never came off.

Buckland wasn't himself made mandatory until June, so it only took three months to arrange (one and a half months of which were off-season).

Craig has had a serious injury which nearly cost him his career so no blame for anyone there.

Towers is boxing for the EU title and should target the British in the next 12 months.

When I saw the the title of this thread I thought exactly the same thing. Froch's crazy schedule he's now lumbered with is a result of the interminable years going nowhere with Fat Mick. In Froch's case, he is a sharp guy outside of the ring so it was bemusing to see why he stayed with such a pathetic promoter for so long and has to take a share of the blame himself. At the end of the day, fighter's have the choice.

Munroe is in the who needs him club. I think Munroe is scheduled to fight his third fight in the last year since he has signed with Hatton.

There is too much politics in boxing but what is unacceptable is fighters waiting around for the money to come to them. Stay busy.

But at least he is getting some money, keeping himself in the gym, keeping himself sharp and keep his record healthy for when the relevant fight comes along.
