Brilliant performance from Mayweather. Completely dominant in my opinion. Hatton showed a lot of courage but the skill level of Floyd was twice as good as anything he's ever faced. When Floyd wanted to step on the gas, he did, and hurt Hatton a lot. Mayweather's timing was supreme and his power seems good too. I felt it was only a matter of time before Hatton went down.

No complaints about the referee, the point deduction was also fair.

A lot of aggression from Ricky but against a technically sound defensive boxer, he couldn't cope. Hatton's OK when he faces a square on opponent but he kept hitting Floyd's shoulder.

If Ricky could have been what he was in the 1 he could have one. Ricky scared me with the first.

Ricky is a damn good fighter and I've always said it. He gave Floyd a tough fight. Floyd is just a special fighter. Maybe more people will realize it.

Yeah he was never going to win the fight after he showed his hand in the first couple of rounds.

PBF is too dam good, he was sweating on catching Hatton with the left hook all night and when it landed as Hatton was coming in it was goodnight sweet baby.

It was competitive until the point deduction, just like DLH fight was competitive until the last 3 rounds and just like Judah fight was competitive for 6 rounds. Mayweather fights very smart.

I gave the first to Hatton and everything else to Floyd. He was always in control after the first round.

I think that Hatton tried to get back into the fight in round three after having lost the first two but I agree that Hatton started losing as he was running into three right hands to end the first three minutes. The fight was developing into a competitive contest in the second as they traded fast rights ( Mayweather) and accurate, sharp left hooks ( Hatton) but it was starting to get too rough and Joe Cortez had to intervene twice in that one. Hatton won the third despite being cut and even as Mayweather was winning rounds four and five by way of using left hooks and hard rights, he was still using the left forearm way too much and to the point of Bernard standing up and calling the attention of Cortez. I also gave Ricky the sixth but he really lost his head and rabbit puched Mayweather like that... Then, the fight could have finished in the eight. Mayweather losing all the respect for Ricky and jabbing at ease in the ninth and I was sure it wouldn't go much longer from that point on. At the end of the ninth, I had Mayweather in front 88-82...
All props to Mayweather for a brilliant fight, also to Ricky for courage but either he was too nervous or this one was already marked up to be a huge technical mismatch.
