Scar, this is exactly the point. Diaz at least knew what a plan is (by defintion).

I don't buy into the ******ed stuff some people say to try and discredit the Diaz win. Yeah, Diaz is no all time great but he's not rubbish either, think many SHOULD at least agree after what we saw earlier.

Yeah, Hatton walked onto some major shots.

Pac landed the shot he felled Diaz with in the 2nd round rather than the 9th, that's all. ANd Pac looks much stronger at 140 then at 135.

Diaz seemed to roll with shots too, Hattonw alked clean onto them.

Let's not forget that Holt had already sparked Diaz.

Hatton lasted 10 rounds with Mayweather. Does this mean A) Pac hits harder than Floyd B) David Diaz would last the distance with Mayweather.

Does it mean that David Diaz would beat Urango, Maussa, Tyszu, Castillo, Malignaggi, as well as top contenders such as Vince Phillips, Ben Tackie and have a competitive fight up at WW with a tricky and durable southpaw like Collazo?

Hatton's punch resistance has dwindled lately, and he was rubbish last night.

Manny, like Marquez, feels more comfortable as he moves up in weight and is learning all the time. He was on top form last night and bullied Hatton around early, meaning Hatton was also mentally beaten straight away (another plus point for Manny IMO)

    Hence his quick loss.

I read a David Diaz interview before the Hatton vs Pacquiao fight and he said all the right things. He thought the fight would not last if Hatton fought his usual style and walked right into Pacquiao's speed and power.

look de la hoya didnt land as many as david diaz and didnt last as long either , so what does that say about de la hoya's ability compared to diaz? Ricky just got cought he tried to rough pac up he didnt like it then he got cought flush ofcourse his ability has now been found out but in all fairness, de la hoya was way to tired and weight drained and hatton has never looked good since the KT fight in 05, i gave diaz loads of credit but saying that he lasted longer than another fighter makes him better is stupid
