"The last time Pacquiao got beat is when someone fought on on the front foot"

Expect to see an ultra-aggressive Ricky Hatton here. I think he's going to try and bully Pacquaio and aim for his body. But will he be able to find the elusive Pacman?

Only problem with that is that Mayweather's already said Hatton is far too aggressive. I think we can expect him to be more calculating for the first few rounds until he realises he's losing, then he'll start lunging forward and will get TKO'd. BOOYA

I think Pacquiao may underestimate how quickly Hatton moves forward, this will definatly be Hatton's best chance of victory in my opinion.

Pac's footwork is not in the same league of FMj, so I hope he doesn't try to beat the Hitman in the same manner, I just don't see it working for him.

Umm, Pac's footwork may actually be better than PBFs or at least close...kind of a stretch to say its not in the same league , he definitely bounces in and out quicker than mayweather , PBF kept better balance and used his footwork a bit smarter , but Manny justs needs to be able to be quick enough to dodge , move and counter ... and to move out after attacking. And of course you don't see it working for Manny, you are from Britain , and therefore its not like your opionion is actually objective on this matter.

And Mayweather beat Hatton because of his aggressiveness .... its easy to use against him if you box well enough and have some power... which Pacman is fine for both...

All PBF did , was time Hatton and Hit him with Left hooks of the back leg while Hatton Lunges in , or timed him and hit him with Lead straight rights before he lunged in... pretty easy.

Morales didnt fight on the front foot. There's a reason Morales watched JMM-Pac 7 time and backed off most of the time, only attacking when Pac was off balanced, just finished his burst or stunned.

being ultra agressive is the worst thing he can do,it would be Mayweather all over again even Lazcano almost got him out of there with another check hook and with Manny´s speed he would catch something he never saw coming and it would be lights out.

i dissagree i think hattons only chance is to be aggressive and put pressure on pacman, back him up and work his body, if he could find a gap like he did against castillio then it would deffo be lights out for paquiao.

that said i still cant see hatton winning i just think paquiao is too quick and mobile for hatton to cach cleanly, i hope he does it though

Hatton wont be sitting back just getting tagged constantly as pacman darts in and out. He will force the pace.

Pac poses Hatton ALOT of problems. Hattons fabled inside fighting only works against static punching bags. As Hattons competition has risen dramatically we have seen his body punching dwindle. He also has a scant regard for defence and leads with his face. Thats bad news when Hatton historically has never been able to cope with southpaws. Bearing in mind Pacman is a bonafide puncher and possibly one of the hardest punchers Hatton would have ever faced this compounds Rickys problem even more who's only strength is simply bullying and mauling his opponent. Pacman has deft and excellent footwork. Hatton will get hit continually with punches down the pipe he wont even see coming. This fight is over inside of 6 rounds to Pac.

Im just hoping for an all time classic encounter.
Not a one sided beatdown of either fighter. ideally with a late KO.
We will soon see if your predictions come to fruition.
