lucky punch? how would that go? considering a ko punch is thrown with the intent to...sure enough knock someone out
The Hatton that fought PBF was the best Hatton I've seen since KT. Re-watching the fight, he looked damm good.
It look like Hattons sparring partners are beating the hell out of him already! So we know he isnt working on AVOIDING punches! LOL
Hatton is going to come forward, pressure to Pacquiao's smaller body. Pacquiao is going to try to slip straight lefts down the pipe and get Hatton out of there that way. This is how the fight is going to go.
Nice to see ricky still thinks he's fighting for some p4p world title blummin twat. Pacman tko round 1 fight will be a big letdown in regards a spectacle for the neutral.
I have heard reports where Floyd Sr. and Hatton are planning to fight with constant pressure but in a more intelligent way. They are planning of using the jab more as they go in. More head movement also. I think that will help him avoid getting hit flush all the time when he is rying to come closer.
Pac is not the technician Mayweather is. He appears to be able to "out-box" fighters because of his speed, thats it. When he fought JMM twice, if you watch closely you will see many flaws in Manny Pac that JMM, the better technician, exposed and took advantage of. Erik Morales, when he had his legs, outboxed Pac decisively. Pac is not gonna sit back and look to counter Hatton, he isn't a counter-puncher. Just because Pac looked like he "outboxed" Oscar does not put him on the level of Floyd as a pure boxer. Floyd is the kind of boxer who can find little ticks in someones game and capitalize on them, for example.....Floyd was timing Hatton for that check hook the entire fight....you will see a few times he tried to execute it and just missed, and then he finally got it. Floyd is a "thinking" fighter and has proved this, I'm not so sure Pac is. All this means...Hatton can afford to be more aggressive with Pac, then he was with Floyd. To think Pac will beat Hatton the way Floyd did is idiocy. Pac is gonna try and come forward and get off before Hatton, then move away laterally....simple.
