You must admit it is going on for too long I don't think hatton is ducking him, they just can't stand each other. I mean we nearly did not get benn eubank two because they hated each other. if witter beats hopkins convincingly then it will force hatton hand hopefully the fight will happen and then we can finally settle this.

 

If he really hates Witter than he should fight him in the ring to try to beat his ass. Not have him not fight Witter just because he doesn't want Witter to get his biggest Payday.

 

I don't see how someone that has shared a ring with Tszyu, Castillo and Mayweather can be be accused of running from Junior Witter! :nut

If Witter does a job on DH and maybe gets another win later in the year over in the states this fight will happen early next year. Doubt HBO will get behind it at the moment. Witter is a virtual unknown in the states. And don't be fooled people witter has nothing but a punchers chance against Hatton he is far too lazy and inconsistent his best performance was the Viv Harris KO and that guy has never been the same since Maussa dismantled him.

 

Witter vs Hopkins and Hatton vs Maglinaggi, leads to Witter vs Hatton. Could be the best fight of the year. Oh and for the fanboys out there, this would be the 140 pound decider. So just because they dont have the same passport as you, doesnt mean its not worth watching.

 

Oh don't be saying that all hatton haters will be saying how witter as the style to beat hatton on the basis of him getting beat of mayweather. I mean I have been to witter last three fights he looked ok against chop chop and then spolied it, moura he was shite and harris he was good. But if he takes on hatton and only throws 12 punches a round it won't last till the seventh.

Don't buy all Hatton's excuses. They are just that, excuses not to fight some one he's avoided for years.:

How about: "I'm at world championship level Witter is below that so I shouldn't fight him" - Witter wins the WBC title - still no fight.

And the lamest of them all: "Witter upset me so I don't want to give him a payday" - Witter offered to fight "winner takes all" at one point but Hatton didn't respond.

 

Wait hatton as a better KO ration than witter. Witter as knocked out about 21 of his 35 oponents whilst hatton 32 out of 44.

Up to the Judah fight yeah, Witter hardly KO'ed anyone, then Brendan Ingle after the Judah fight turned him into a counter puncher, his only blips since the Judah fight has been Lynes imo, people were not impressed with the Kotelnik bout but Kotelnik is far more dangerous than people think. Maybe Corley but who does look good against Corley.

It was pretty obvious between the years 2001-4 that Hatton was ducking Witter, maybe it was more Warren, but hey the Witter vs Hatton fight when it happens is going to be mega huge now then it would have been in 2002.
