    As a person: Hatton.

But I admire Hopkins more as a boxer.

I respect both of them; Hopkins went to prison a long time ago when he was alot younger. Professionally, he has had a longshot career. No amateurs, no big promoter bankrolling his early days as a professional. Without a doubt he as accomplished more as a boxer. I throw the "no way a white boy will beat me" comments out the window. It's really more pseudo racists than actually racist. He didn't use slurs or anything like that. Definetly ignorant comment, but saying it's racist is a bit over the top. Everyone says Hatton is more likable, but some of his comments strike me as crass. We're talking boxers here, not humanitarians.

I have a great deal of respect for both. I have more respect for the way Ricky carries himself as a person outside or the ring while I respect the seriousness and dedication Bernard has for his profession.

Listen , im english so this is not biased in any way. You believe Hatton is respectful to his fans? I believe he used to be before he starting making mega-bucks , he stoped being humble round aout the Juan Urango fight. Respectful to his fans , he lies through his teeth to get people to jump on his bandwagon and pay to watch his fights. He sits there , bold as brass and tells the world he's a 2-weight world champion (he thinks that Collazo fight made him THW WW CHAMPION!!) . He only cares about money now.

He also tells the world how he is a boxing fan and genuine. This , coming from the man who wont give Junior Witter a shot at his LWW championship because Witter has been badmouthing him? Hatton bad-mouthed Mayweather and Mayweather give him a fight. It is disgustin that he wont give a guy who has worked his arse off for, and deserves a title shot. This is not a boxing fan, nor a genuine nice guy. Would he like this treatment?

I have a book called Brutal Artistry , and there is a section which is about the life of B-Hop. You read that and you will change your opinion on him.

So, i respect B-Hop much more than that spiteful snake. And im white aswell , so again, there is not any bias here

Your right, there is a lot of resentment , but its because im a boxing fan. Im not a fan of any 1 particular fighter (i obviously have favorites) , but im a boxing fan first and foremost. And i think the worst thing in boxing is when a guy doesnt get the chance he deserves and has worked hard for. And when Hatton just sits there and thinks its funy that he's dodging Witter it makes my blood boil! What a snake

I know what you mean but Witter as made it even worse for himself by not putting on dazzling fights when he had his chance to stake his claim for hatton after hatton two mediocre perfomances against urango and collazo. Also u say he his a snake my mate was in the same bar in tenerife and he said you could not meet a nicer bloke and there were no reporters there.
