    Blah blah blah blah

You couldn't crack an egg back when you boxed and you haven't verbally battered me or whatever you said either.......calling someone a gay and a heroin addict and a **** is pathetic, and certainly unintelligent, as I said before and you proved me right, so thanks

Speaking of pathetic.......when did Baz Carey last win??

And as for me being "riled".....good one! zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Who cares about your life story and your "company"....sounds like you're trying to convince and persuade people things that I haven't even criticized in the first place stop being so tetchy and angry

You have a poor boxing record.....you know it, facts state it and that's all I did.....you got offended, you got offensive and you got abusive.......so before you comeback with a witty repost take this into account......I do not care what you will ever say about me and I know I got to you merely by stating facts, you tried to get to me with childish rants, excuses and swear words

    Good One

    Good Bye

The whole 140 division is at its worst ever.

Paulie is the worst number 2 that ive ever seen.

No way is Hatton P4P Britain's best. Saw the Malignaggi fight today, he didn't look that good to me, he missed with a hell of a lot of shots.

I don't see that Hatton could have don't much more given the opponent that was put in front of him? He lost 1 round out of 11 and got the TKO....

I watched it this morning on Sky+, I watched most rounds but fast forwarded some of it. What I saw early on was Hatton missing by miles. Though he seemed to pick up later on and even landed a few lead left hooks, RJJ style.

I think alot of us felt that Hatton was bound to win this fight...but nonetheless, it was a fight that I felt Hatton ought to take in a division that a year ago seemed very thin on talent indeed.

    I wanted him to fight:

    Witter
    PM
    Diaz

....things have changed though, and that's not Ricky Hatton's fault. Both Witter and Diaz have lost, and therefore there is no longer the same clamour or demand for these fights....I don't think we can attack Hatton for fighting PM at all and he did exactly what most of us thought he would do, fair play.

Now there appears to be other options...personally, I'd like to see him fight JMM or Timothy Bradley now but I am not in any way opposed to a fight with DLH either, who I anticipate will destroy Pac Man.

What concerns me is the fact that Hatton seems to regard the P4P1 status as some sort of belt traded between fighters....if this were the case, I suppose Calzaghe would be P4P#1 as Tarver beat Jones...Johnson beat Tarver....Tarver beat Johnson....Hopkins beat Tarver....Calzaghe beat Hopkins.

However, we all know this isn't the case and the truth is, I will not regard DLH as P4P#1 or anything fecking like it, when he beats Pac.

In answer to the thread, Jeff is causing mischief! But, at the same time he does truely believe it I think, and fair play. Hatton's resume is actually quite underrated by many I feel although I am of the opinion that Calzaghe's is superior.

Cheers mate :good I still think the Brit forum is overall the best on ESB and guys like yourself play a huge role in that and you know I respect the fact that you have actual in ring experience something that anyone with a love of this sport has to appreciate and respect IMO.

We don't always have to agree here, but at least be respectful of other peoples opinions....in boxing alot of things are highly subjective and who knows? If you enter a debate with an open mind whilst talking to good posters, you yourself might change your opinions.

I know I have in the past.

Any thoughts on Calzaghe's next opponent, if he decides to carry on?

Given that he doesn't really do rematches, is there anyone out there for him, who is a sufficient 'draw' that either.....

    1. He hasn't beaten already (eg. Kessler, Hopkins)
    2. Hasn't been beaten by plenty of other people (eg. Johnson, Woods)
    3. Is willing to fight in Cardiff

Pacman says he's never fighting below 140 again even if he loses to Oscar.

He struggled big time to make 130 for the Barrera and Marquez rematches, and looked much stronger at 135 - albeit against a pisspoor opponent.

Yea it was an article I read the other day and he mentioned Hatton, Bradley, someone else at 140 - said he was not going back to 135 no matter what.

I suppose he may look at some of the smaller 147 guys as well, perhaps Floyd at a catchweight...
