I have felt that Ajose would beat him for the last 6 years but that is not the point. This is a contest I have analysed for years and I have studied him assidously for years. This is not the post to talk about a match up between them rather we should be applauding Hatton for a great great victory.


Saturday's victory was Hatton's and deservedly so and his should get all the plaudits for a great performance. He took apart apart an awkward guy to fight in Malignaggi. Hatton is great for boxing. I thought he might lose on Saturday but I am glad he won. He is excellent for boxing. I appreciate him in way that quite frankly I don't care about Calzaghe. He can go on for a few more years.

Not sure how Hatton jr vs Olusegun would go - it would certainly be a step up for both, going on recent opposition.

 

Please even Matthew Hatton's family and fans know that such a contest would not be good for his health and well being. As Jim Watt would say when you face Ajose Olusegun you have a good chjance not just of losing but of being seriously hurt.
