There have been loads of those recently, for the past TWO YEARS!

You can't have been throwing the full arsenal, having been taken the distance several times........

No whole to be dug mate. I am not here to talk about Ajose Olusegun today or Matthew Hatton for that matter. I have come to praise Ricky Hatton for a performance that to me was actually technically better than when he beat Kostya Tyzu and remember I was ringside for the Tyzu contest.

I think I am actually going to miss Ricky Hatton when he finally retires and am so glad he can go on for a few more years. Put it this way I would love to watch him against Pacman at Wembley.

    Calm down guys.

Lets not get into the "rip Olu a new A-hole" thing again.

We all know what a great poster he is in general; I'm willing to give him a by ball for his "blinded by love" thing that he has going on with Olusegun.

I think technically he was pretty good, but still some areas need working on. To be honest, I never rated Paulie and predicted the outcome correctly, unlike plenty on the General Forum - but the manner of the victory surprised me.

Put it this way, I wasn't expecting Ricky to out-jab Paulie - which was supposedly his 'gun' punch.

I would prefer Hatton vs JMM to be honest, but point taken :good

JMM would be interesting but I am not sure he will be effective at 140 pounds and I think he might be a little past his peak.

Technically Hatton was outstanding and its been a long time since we last all said that. It is not that I think Malignaggi is great but he is tough, quick and awkward and basically Ricky took his tools way.

Congratulations on your prediction. Spot on. I actually feared that Malignaggi might win and I am glad to have been wrong. Hatton is great for boxing.

I would love to share a beer or 10 with Hatton whereas if I saw Junior Witter I would rather cross the road.

He crawled back to 140 and took on a powerpuff puncher after being brutalised by Mayweather, the winner of Pac vs DLH trashing Hatton, Hatton will always be known as a fighter who only beat old fighters and average fighters but was exposed by the elite.

'Crawled back'?!?! You are such a cockhead. He just easily outboxed, in every department, the recognised no1 contender in the division...Hatton can't do any better than beat the no contender can he?!?! I actually think Hatton did a better job on Paulie than Cotto did.
Also you should give credit to Hatton for moving up a weight to fight the recognised pfp no1. Remember that Hattons comfort zone is 140 not 147. With only 1 defeat in his career how a man can get so much negative comment is beyond me. It is people like you who should just **** off. End of.

Calzaghe has got one meaningful win in his entire career. And that was against Mikkel Kessler. Beating an old roy and a controversial win against hopkins does not count. How can u slap a guy for 12 rounds in the hopkins fight and get a win? Hatton's record is way better. The guy takes chances unlike Calzaghe.

Yeah Hattons comfort zone is bullying smaller guys around the ring or bashing on old guys, Cotto vs Paulie fight was alot more entertaining and Cotto would smash Hatton silly.

Jeff I cannot really think of a good reason to fight Matthew Hatton right now when we have been ordered by the WBC to fight Junior Witter in a title eliminator for the WBC title. What would stopping Matthew Hatton prove compared to retiring Witter which is what we plan to do in the New Year. As far as I am aware Matthew is not in the world rankings or is he?
