    thats bull****.
hatton's a good guy who has issues and who set a healthy precedent by leaving warren and having the balls to find out how good he was - something too few brits did prior to him.

if you want to 'cast the first stone' against a guy like hatton you do need to have a good look in the mirror. the guy's human. big deal.

you mean he used Warren as much as he needed him for his own benefit then left him, same thing he did with others like Billy Graham. Sounds like the tightwad didn't even pay up 'his old pal' Billy in full before ditching him.
If you believe this shite about depression, the priory, coke being a recent thing....well, i'm speechless.
He's scrambling to save his image and career, nothing more. It's nothing new with slippery Hatton, he was a sham all along.

    he's no 'sham', is he?
he's done what calzaghe and haye haven't done.

and he left warren because his patience had worn thin - warren used him as he does all his fighters, never sending them over to the states or lining them up against 'high risk' prime opponents.

why do you think hatton's career hit his peak after he left warren?

depression, the priory, coke - like i said, he's human.
how many people do you know who go through life and don't **** up on the way?
everybody likes a bit of escapism now and then, even celebrity sportsmen.

This line is sooooo tired. Ricky had NO PROBLEM making half a mil a time at the M.E.N when he was defending the WBU against tin cans. Why stop what was a very succesful recipe? Even Joe gave it to Warren because he wanted a slice of the pie too.
Ricky's the one lacing them up not Frank.
If he wanted the meaningful fights he could have made them. Fact is he didnt want them and picked and chose his fights.
Remember when Ricky was the EBU mandatory for Otkay Urkal when Urkal was undefeated and had just had an excellent tussle with Kostya? Thats right Ricky refused to fight him. He did the same when Corley was undefeated and held the WBO. He gave up his mandatory shot. Likewise when he was the mandatory for Harris's belt (WBA) that also fell through. When the WBO was on the line again vs Pinto that also fell through. Now you tell me why would a fighter choose the WBU as a preference over world recognised belts? Even Ricky counts he's WBU title as a world title. The kid is a model of delusionment.

Oh yeh ! Life is hard !
Some lose their job. Some lose their home in a hurricane. Some lose their beloved ones in a tidal wave.
And a fighter loses a fight - gets depressed, gives a **** about everybody, damages the image of the noble art.
Put disfunctinal, egocentric primadonnas like Hatton, Tyson ans Calzaghe into a mental home.
Life is hard. If these chosen ones don´t like their miserable existences - then leave it with all the money that´ll be better of with people who´ve got matters of existence and not broken egoes to care about !!!
