Nah. All the talk about their potential superfight is just annoying. Somebody needs to bring these people down to earth.
And you're just the man to do it by starting a thread on an internet forum asking who between Pacman and Hatton has fought the most shot fighters. Top man!
100% fail. p4p no1, 140 no1, all yout atg's feasted on shot/past prime fighters. too much attention on pac and ricky right now. i guess they will sell lot's of ppv's
Hatton is 2 fights removed from being saved by a referee against Juan Lazcano of all people. Then he beats the least-dangerous fighter at 140 in Malignaggi and suddenly he's some beast worthy of a big fight. It's only money dictating this. Not subtance. Hatton has looked like **** the past 3 years.
Would that be the same Maliganggi who was widely recognised as the 2nd best 140lber at the time of the fight? As for Lazcano what was the score on all three judges score cards? Not arguing with you about money dictating this fight. Of course it is but then again boxing has always been about the money.
As shaky a 140 #1 as there's ever been. Timothy Bradley would give him a run for his money and if Lazcano hurt him and Urango can make him hold for 7 rounds with 1 body shot it's shaky as can be. Why do you think they made the Malignaggi fight? Cuz he can't crack an egg. It was to make Hatton look like a beast again when in actuality he's anything but. I'm sorry if I turned this into a Hatton hate thread but the hype for this fight is just getting ridiculous.
No. It's the same Malignaggi that was matched very well to get to a title fight, won it against a gatekeeper in N'Dou, lost in the eyes of most observsers to Ngoudjo, and then struggled against the same guy he beat for the title. That's your #2 140 lber? Surely you jest. Timothy Bradley, Junior Witter, and Kendall Holt would all beat Malignaggi. Anyone who can box just a little will make things difficult for Malignaggi.
What has Tim Bradley done, or who has he beat, that he's so well thought of? The guy needs to string together a couple of defences against decent opponents and THEN we'll see how he stands.
I'm not even gonna respond to you anymore. If anybody thinks Hatton is a special fighter they haven't been watching him fight the past few years.
Where did i say Hatton was special? You're offering up the likes of Bradley as some sort of measuring stick in the 140lb division. That's just derisory. You obviously don't like Hatton. Fair do's. Well just leave it at that.
Actually, I liked Hatton for a long time. His fights became literally unwatchable after a while though and his well-documented weight fluctuations have definitely taken a toll on him. So much so that he has to stay away from dangerous punchers and if he's gonna face somebody who can punch it has to be somebody from the lower weight classes. Bradley is no measuring stick but who's to say that he wouldn't give Hatton a good fight? Lesser fighters have given Ricky problems as of late. Why is it that I mention Bradley (a fighter I have absolutely no allegiance to) and I get backlash? It's probably because of somebody else's recent thread about him being the #1 guy at 140. I think Hatton is the top dog at 140 but let's face it, he's as beatable as they come for a supposed #1 fighter.
