Lesser fighters give him problems lately? In his last 4 fights covering the last 18 months or so he's flattened JLC, lost to P4P number 1, had a couple of dodgy moments outpointing Lascano (nowhere near being KO'd) and then totally dominated his number 1 contender on the way to giving Paulie his first stoppage defeat. Are people that deparate to put Hatton down that Bradley, who has only beaten an old, out of sorts Witter and Edner "gatekeeper" Cherry, is being talked up as the danger man of the division?
Hatton beat Tszyu and Castillo and must be given credit for that. He swept 11 of the 12 rounds against a very good Lazcano (remember, this was a comeback fight against a guy who just lost a close decision to Vivian Harris). Ricky's only loss was a competitive defeat at 147 to the best p4p fighter in the world. And he is trying to get a rematch with PBF as well. Fighting 4 HOF fighters in 4 years (and 2 #1 boxers) ain't bad! Lets have no talk about Hatton fighting "shot fighters." Add victories over champions such as Malignaggi, Urango, Collazo and Maussa and you can see why Hatton is a top 10 p4p according to The Ring.
Ur smokin crack, bro. Malinaggi went twelve rounds with cotto and could hav gone at least another 5 rounds. He also wooped up on lovemore n'dou who gave cotto hell as well. And most people pickd malinaggi to beat him. I would put money down that Hatton could whip any 140 pounder out there, any 135 fighter, and almost all of the welterweights. Write that down
Did you see Bradley against Cherry? he's a limited but strong fighter, maybe with experience he will get a lot better. At the moment Hatton has too much class for Bradley IMO and would make him run out of ideas in the ring
Damn there has only been about 1 or 2 posts that actually discuss the topic, guess ill add another one to a useless topic
