While oscar had mega drawing power he was toward the end when he fought mayweather. I think that hurt some potential sales, whereas pacman-hatton is a war between two entertaining styles of fighters who
each carry better draw power than floyd, and are each on par with oscar
at this particular stage. And that's why I think that this will slightly trump
the oscar/floyd ppv. I'm estimating a cool 2.5 million buys from this fight.
And from the quick live gate sellout already it's on track. The only thing
that stands in the way of this not being the biggest selling ppv of all time is the economy.

Absolutely not. I could list the gazillions of ways that it won't happen but I 'll just say no.

1 mil is possible...2.5 mil? No.

No way. It should (as it is a ore important and will probably be a more entertaining fight) but it won't do as big. I doubt it will be as big as Hatton vs Mayweather.

    Nope,

Hatton is not a hugely recognized star in the US and Pacquiao does dull numbers when he doesn't fight a top fighter.

I see it doing a cool million buys, a tad less or a tad over. Which is still great.

Doubt it. Only fight i can think of to come close to doing 2.5 million buys would be Mayweather-Pacquiao and even that fight might not be able to get those numbers.

Yea i think it will do more buy's,because both guy's are warriors, they both have a huge crowd and fanbase and there both coming to fight and it will be all action, until pacquiao punishes hatton into submission and leaves him a bloody mess.

Definitely not. It may surpass PBF/Hatton PPV sales though

Nope, 2 non-Americans fighting at light welter are not going to do great numbers in the USA. It won't beat Hatton-Mayweather, let alone Oscar-Mayweather.
