Most casual boxing fans in the states know Hatton as the guy who got check hooked by Mayweather. With that said a Pac-Hatton would never be as big in the states as Pac-Mayweather. :deal

It would be a big fight and I would say it's more than 50-50, its more like 65-35 to the Pacman.

Interesting clash of styles, it would be interesting to see how the Pacman handles the brawling. With all those bamboo shots he takes to the body I have a feeling he might launch some surprises in the infighting and end up harassing Hatton. Pacman is a tough guy. Can't be underestimated.

**** the states and fight in front of over 90K ppl in the UK. Also the PPV-buys (in the UK) will be bigger. Hatton is by far the bigger draw than FLoyd.

    dont be silly Beenie!!

most casual boxing fans dont give a **** about boxing anyway so wouldnt even buy the fight...Hatton/Pac man have both got a far greater fan base than any American fighter today. No American fighter could sell out a 90,000 seat staduim which will happen with Hatton/Pacman

cant wait for this fight!!!! :happy:happy:happy

    You're probably right.

But Hatton-Pac would be much more entertaining.

I say let them fight, and the winner fights Mayweather.

Explosive fight and after last night's show from Manny I think Hatton will have the worst of it.

The issue with the fight for me was not Manny's ability, but his moving up too soon. His power and speed carried. Although Oscar was pedestrian throughout the fight.

He showed he can perform at the weight and that troubles me for Hatton.

Hatton does not like speed and movement. Manny showed last night how quick he is, both footwork wise and hand speed wise. We know Ricky is susceptible coming in and there is every possibility Manny tags Hatton too often.

The real worry for me combined with the above is the southpaw stance. It is a well known fact that Hatton struggles against southpaws and has done so even against Euro level oppostion (Eamon Magee), he tends to tagged more than against an orthodox fighter and this could spell real trouble for Hatton.

The positives are that Hatton will be more mobile, quicker hands and feet than Oscar was last night, will continue to throw even if in trouble, and still has the power to cuase Manny serious problems. It is such an exciting proposition and one that I think will benefit boxing.

If we get the fight at Wembley next Summer I will be positively buzzing and making my way down south, which will only be marginally cheaper than going to Las Vegas!!!!

hatton vs pacman is a fraud, hatton has no chance, pacquiao would knock him out within 8 rounds. Pac is too quick, smart and powerful.

lol, never say never, there are no certainties in boxing as last nights fight proved. it's a 50:50 fight, hatton will be a totally different proposition for manny.

I agree with you, hatton is an overhyped fighter.

In his last two bouts he didn't look that good, like many people are telling us.
    His chin is also questionable!

For pacman this would be an much easier fight, than his last bout agianst de la hoya!

How about Pacman v Malianaggi as a feeler for fight 140?
