yep, this is exactly as i see it, we'll know how the fight is going to pan out from the first couple of rounds, and it will be fairly one sided, but we won't knoiw who will have the upper hand until they actually start fighting.

exactly it was his forward momentum and lack of balance and the punch just added to this. without the ringpost being there it would have done a lot less damage, he would have just gone down and got back up in a better state than he did.

less damage? usually the ref stops it if you fall face first.:hey to prevent further injury. look at how he was already out before hitting the buckle. that check hook did it. The turnbuckle just saved him from falling face first.

I see this fight more like Margarito-Mosley. Pac's faster, better skilled, smarter, and more precise with his punches. Hatton's going down around the time and way that Margo did.

    CORRECTION :

    1. Size: Diaz and dela Hoya were naturally bigger fighters than Pacman results?

    2. Power: Pac is a BIGGER puncher than Hatton. He brought that power all the way from 110, ask dela Hoya!! haha...

    3. Pacman is the best PRESSURE FIGHTER i`ve seen, don`t deny it. He pressures with his fists and volume of punches, not by pushing, clinching, nor by wrestling.

    4. At 110 Pacman was malnourished. He was a starving 15 yr. old thin, lanky kid (living in a cardboard box) who cheated on his birth cert. just to fight. It was a shot to the stomach not the head. At 113 and 19 yrs. old, he was malnourished again, he did not eat for 2 weeks just to make the weight. I see no improvements with knockout shots to the head as the case of hatton. After 10 years of training, stomach muscles being bigger, i think Pac would not be knocked out by body shots anymore. Fact is, Pacman has never been knocked-out by head shots.

P.S. I think that based on your flawed analysis you bet on delaHoya on his pac fight and Marg on his Mosley fight?

This fight will be more one sided and that's why I'm putting so much cash on it. Ricky has the advantage in nearly every category except speed where Pac has a very slight advantage.

I don't think this will be a Margarito Cotto all over again. The size difference between Hatton and Pacquiao is not as large as the one between Margarito and Cotto. The main difference though is that Margarito has a freakish chin. Cotto did a lot better in the fight than people give him credit for and was using Margs head as a punching bag at times. If Pacquiao is able to land similar shots on Hatton (which I think he will) then Hatton is not gonna be able to smile and shake it off like Marg. He's either going down or his corner or ref will stop the fight due to too much punishment. I stick to my prediction, late stoppage for Pacquiao, though I think it'll be competive.

I just cant see this ... Margo doesnt hug, and was using brick gloves.. Cotto is not even considered as fast, as a matter of fact.. Cotto is slow

Can anyone post a link to someone talking about a check hook on here that dates prior to Hatton Mayweather ?

Pac was very close to being stopped by Hussein from a left hook. He has been stopped from body shots. Does Hatton have a harder left hook than Hussein ? Is he the hardest body puncher Pac has faced ? So does he have a huge chance ? Damn right.

Pac is fast, but not elusive fast. He still gets hit and often.

Is Pac better then Floyd ? No.

Hatton is very good at closing the range and bulling guys to the ropes. He is way stronger than Pac, don't be fooled by Pacs physique its not a natural weight for him, he will be weaker than Hatton.

Hatton will win i think a surprisingly easy fight. 6 rounds.

Get your facts right. They were body shots on weight drained Pac 10 years ago. :patsch His chin had been tested by his previous opponents like Barrera, Morales, Marquez.... even dela Hoya in certain round.
