Naturally i respect the baby bulls opinion over yours. His opinion was also what noted boxing scribes said as well prior to the fights with the betting odds getting much closer. PBF went on to put on a legendary performance.But of course he was shot prior to this.

Phillip N`dou was a KO specialist. Floyd fought him at 35 and put on a clinic KO`ing him with 3 succesive right hands.Up until that time N`dou had only lost once and had been in the ring with decent operators like Cassius Baloyi. But yes of course N`dou who as you dont even know who he is.

Against Zab Floyd was the aggresor as you can see by the shiner Zab was sporting after the bout.You clearly watched a diffrent fight.But again your right Zab isnt ****.I mean unfied 147lb champ pah.Former IBF champ at 140 pah.Kostya softened him up right?

Floyd fought Sharmba at 47.He had just come up from 135 no less than 2 years before.He was good enough for Kostya at 140.Was a mooted opponent for Hatton whom Hatton turned down.But naturally his shot when he fought Gatti.

PBF is a pure boxer.How does that make him a runner? And why would he stand and bang with a guy that walks around at 180

 

These kids just repeat what they here on these forums.They havent got a freaking clue and it ****ing rankles me.Im not even a Floyd fan boy. I can appreciate his style but no one can call him a runner thats just straight BS.Watch one his fights for ****s sake.I never saw him running when he dropped Corrales 5 times.

That was my point. There was no way that Mayweather would have been able to stand and bang with Baldomir, yet somehow the absurd meme from the HBO crew that Floyd had to KO Baldomir brutally for that to be any sort of meaningful win became conventional wisdom on boxing forums after the fight. It was only after Merchant bad-mouthed Mayweather for an hour on air that night that most of these guys started ranting about what boring "runner" Mayweather is.

IMO that was one of the HBO crews most disgusting displays of bias. They gave Hatton a total pass for not only being unable to hurt the completely over-matched Urango during their fight, but they also kept trying to hype him as "pure excitement" even into the late rounds of the fight when he was diving in to clinch without even throwing any punches. Additionally, I already mentioned the fact that none of them seemed annoyed by the fact that Vernon Forrest (who is much larger than Mayweather) couldn't stop Baldomir from advancing on him during his dominating victory over the Argentinian.

The only boxing analysis that many posters here seem to be capable of is the thoughtless regurgitation of whatever the commentators and boxing writers are saying this week.

 

good idea for hatton, at least he is playing to his strenghths which he needs to do

 

I couldnt give a dam about what Larry has to say.His turning into an old bitter senile fool.If he doesnt like Floyd so be it.Everyone cant be everybodys cup of tea.But at least be professional.He did the same **** to B Hop when he fought Morrad Hakkar.

 

That would be a great news from Hatton camp, he should be at his best weight to beat the hell of Floyd ass.. :good

 

Sounds like a good move for Hatton.

Every thread that is started about Mayweather or a fight he was or will be in end in ends up being a Love V's Hate thread, all emotion and very little good analysis, just people insulting the fighter at first and then each other.

Sharmba more shot then Gatti ?!?!? give me a ****ing Brake Sharmba is a boxer with far better skills then Gatti, he's never really been in any slugfest to be shot , past his prime yes, shot hell no!! even if he were in his prime it would not have made little difference , floyd still beats sharmba now and 10 years prior.

Fact is there only one fight floyd boxed exclusively and that was the Baldir fight, and that was because baldi came into the fight at 160.

everyone else he stood in the pocket .

PBF will get an easy decision. I dont think it will be a beating though, I think he will just outbox hatton and when hatton trys to get inside he will back up and jab him.

I would really like to see PBF throw some more punches, we know he has the stamina and energy to do it. It would be nice to see him put more effort into his fights. I dont expect him to brawl, but a higher punch output while still boxing like Calfaggi just did last week would be nice to see.
