Maybe someone like Nate Campbell, I'm pretty sure his last fight was at 142/144lbs or something like that. He has been fighting a bit in Russia so has shown a willingness to come to Europe. Decent name and low risk opponent to come back against to see if he has anything left.
Hatton definitely isn’t skint; I can confirm that for you now. He spent a fair bit on his promotional company but he’s far from skint. Chop Chop Corley was a good shout, as was McCloskey. He’s definitely coming back, but he does talk to De La Hoya a lot so maybe he’s got the same “huge announcement” mentality as him; meaning he’ll be announcing Martin Murray’s boot sponsorship deal.
It really is incredible how much weight he has lost, all credit to him. It is only a couple of months since I saw him on Ringside carrying some extra 'timber', for him to look like this now is testament to just how determined he is. Always worth remembering though is that weight loss does not equal fitness, lets hope he has not had such a dramatic weight loss at the expense of his core strength and fitness. Likewise it must not be assumed that just because he was carrying additional weight he was not physically well; it is proven that carrying a few extra pounds does not mean an individual is not fit. I'm starting to get really excited about the prospect of seeing this great man in action again! :bbb :bbb
Wow, Ricky looks 10x younger when he loses that ****. When he had packed it on, you could have made a case for him being in his 40's.
Im happy that Hatton is coming back. He will bring up the profile of boxing abit more. Hatton-Khan at Wembley will happen.
He's not skint. I can assure you of that. He's doing it cause he loves boxing. Misses it. Doesn't want to have retired after a loss and just wants a piece of it again. Same as all true fighters. He's doing very well financially. I mentioned yesterday that I'd seen him jogging for the first time in years. He was looking good. A massive difference to how I last saw him. Boxing has once again become stale to casual followers. This is sure to bring a buzz back to the British scene and we really should be happy about that. Obviously the likes of Betty won't be happy but he's a terrible man and, especially when involving Ricky, possibly the worst poster I've ever known on a forum.
I always struggle to see why people say Wembley for this fight. Surely it has to be at Man City. Would it sell out Wembley? :think Nate Campbell is a decent shout.
Nate Campbell Junior Witter Julio Diaz Lovemore Ndou Jose Luis Castillo Joel Casamayor Michael Katsidis Erik Morales Zab Judah If he comes back and fights any combination of these I think he would be ok. Decent names with little risk, which sell and all still watchable. I'm not saying he definitely wins against all these but he's not likely to get starched Pacquiao style either.
Surely a gradual weight loss over a few months is much better on his body than the crash diet he usually does before fights
any of the bolded/underlined (Witter, N'Dou, Judah) I'd like to see .. Campbell would be a fun one as well, IMO as for Morales, he said he was retiring if he lost vs Garcia Casamayor & Castillo don't seem to have to much left and Katsidis no idea what he's up to, or when he'll return
