very big, eamon magee caused huge problems for hatton with his southpaw stance and he was only fighting hatton to lose, warren offered him 10 grand more if he lost

Hatton is going to get caught extremely blind here and there, not much doubt about that.

Hatton's physical strength, aggression, and power being far more of a problem for Pacquiao, that said. The strengths and weakenesses of these fighters is what's going to make this a classic. Not the fan followings or monies involved.

as i see it hatton will be coming at pac pressuring him closing him down until he gets in a position where he can start roughing pac up and bullying him with his inside strength
with an idea to basicaly isolate pac
the interesting thing is how hatton will get to this position and will he eat alot of leather on the way to pac's inside
this is where i belive floyd snr will come into action to try and make hatton establish a jab as cover on his charge to pac.

but i think pac will be too quick in terms of foot speed and will not let hatton corner him his southpaw stance will allow him to bang hatton until he comes onto him and then step to a side, quick flurries which will mark hatton up very quickly
i used the experssion like a matador and bull before
hatton being the bull and pac obviously being the matador

from the gate, pac beats ricky to the punch 9/10 times. hattons looping punches wont land flush & he wont be able to make it a phone booth fight to apply an effective body attack. his frustration will resort him back to the same old hook & hold hatton and the fight will start to get ugly. ricky will try to wear pacman down with rough house tactics and i doubt the ref will let that sh*t fly.

pacs strait left will start to land more & more throughout the mid rounds. as they break from clintches, manny lands 3 to hattons 1. *rickys best chance to hurt pac* but i dont see manny staying stationary and banging with the hitman. he'll continue to stick and move peppering ricky.

in the 6-7th ricky will realize that hes down on the cards and will start taking more chances. his frustration will lead to more holding and possible point deductions. at the same time manny turns it up capitolizing on rickys lundging in, chin up, faint left to the body.

i see mannys sharp punches taking a toll on ricky as the fights stopped in a corner.

    pac by TKO

That sounds a bit like the methods employed by Luis Collazo, RH. You see Pacquiao playing the bull fighter in this one and staying in the pocket as the Hatton collapses? Interesting, Manny's ability to "swim and not get wet" has greatly improved recently - still, I think it's not very likely Pacquiao will be able to shake off a careers worth of habits, high speed back and forth power fencing, and suddenly face down the quick feet and mauling methods of someone like Ricky Hatton, without bailing out constantly. Pacquiao hates getting collapsed on.

    good post

i would like to add watch out for pac's right hook, when hatton comes in with his hook that punch could end up as pac's money maker

i see Pac doing the pressure here. Hatton will try his usualy stuff but it just wont work against Pac who's accustomed to fighting bigger stronger fighters. He maneuvers himself out of a potential trap., and then throw multiple combinations that will back up Ricky.
