Hatton Promotions New Signing!

    Ricky Hatton has unveiled his latest addition to Hatton Promotions, He has signed British Light Welterweight Champion Ashley Theophane on a 3 year contract. He is the 4th current British champ in the stable and Hatton believes there is no one domestically who can match him, Ricky also said Theophane if all going to plan will fight for World honours in around 18 months. So what do you think of this move? Is Theophane really that much better than Gavin?:think

    Good signing for Hatton. he is the best LWW in Britain (Fankie beats him but he doesnt seem interested in fighting at 140).

    It's good we'll see more of him

    Gavin will not beat Theophane. Gavin is not on the same level of Demarcus Corley, Danny Garcia and Delvin Rodeiguez who Theophane has beaten.

    Good signing but i am sure Maloney has won the purse bids for the nigel wright fight.

    theophane and wright both top 15 with the IBF.

    Great signing for the Fattons. I like Theophane, he has put in the hard graft to get whre he is. He is a very solid operator, Theophane-Wright is an intruiging match up.

    Very good signing. Never understood Mick Hennessy not signing him up when he had the options on him after his last fight?
    What I like about him is he's gone out and done it the hard way beating ( and losing to) good people. He wasn't protected to build a record.

    Good move by Theopane - the Hattons are top-notch at guiding people to European titles then to world title chances. Time will tell whether he will make it all the way though.
