    I think the manner of Hatton's performances against Phillips and Tackie - rather than the actual names, are the reasons why I rank those highly.

    Winning a championship is easier than defending it especially if it is in a higher weight. What if you were the soccer World Cup Champ and you did not defend it? Isn't that embarassing for a proud champ? Did you get my point?

    I don't know StoneRose actually but let's just stick to boxing.

    You are a bit on the harsh side regarding Hatton IMO. He had the guts to chase a fight with the world p4p#1 right away once he was a world champion and when the p4p king was reigning in the division above him. Your Joe never had the same guts to chase a fight with the world p4p#1 when that guy was reigning in the division above him for SIX YEARS. So cut Ricky some slack!

    Has there ever been any talk of Hatton fighting Williams or Margarito?

    Would Williams/Margo actually want to fight Hatton anyway?

    As soon as those guys get down to 140 then I'm sure Hatton will consider giving them a shot. Hatton having or not having balls and not being a coward does not depend on him fighting either of those two at 147.
