If Pac wins and Hatton then beats him it will maybe move Hatton into the top 5. If DLH wins and Hatton then beats him it won't do very much. Probably back into the top 10.

Either way JMM would be number one for me.

in case you hadn't notice, Hatton repeating himself is not exactly a rarity.

he continues to state hes won 7 world titles, is fighting in vegas as its cheaper for the fans, he plays darts, his mum could beat him up, the list goes on.

Calzaghe is P4P number 1. hes the only guy who can rightfully claim he beat the top guys in more than 1 weight class.

    Lets see, seven world titles.....

    WBU
    IBF
    WBA
    WBA
    IBF
    IBO

Well I only see four there...... (plus two Jesus Loves You belts)

On mainstream telly it is seven, though on boxing programmes he says four.

Or how about Pacman - Who not only beat the top guys, but sometime before their 35+ birthday...

A controversial win over a 43 year old Hopkins in a non-title fight is his only win at light heavyweight.

He'd beat Pacquiao on being too big for Manny but Oscar will walk through him and make sweet love to Hatton!

The only thing contriversial about that fight was Hopkins being allowed to cheat so much without being disqualified.

If Pacquiao beat DLH, Hatton beat Maliagnagi and then Hatton beat Pacquiao?

Hatton would have wins over Tszyu (consensus top three P4P at the time), Castillo (not so highly rated by myself, but still in The Ring top ten P4P at the time), Pacquiao (would be consensus number one P4P at the time and have beaten DLH, who some had beating Mayweather, at a weight above his comfort zone), and have pretty much cleaned out his own division.

That's compares rather favourably with some fighters that people have in their P4P lists!

I'd like to have more specifics on who the people who are saying he might 'scrape into the top five' would be putting above him.

They were both cheating. Get over it.

    Both cheating :rofl

Hopkins initiated every single cheat in that fight. There ain't much you can go when a grown man trys to grope and wrestle you.
