Lets be honest, the Vegas/ New York thing is just nit-picking and (I think!!!) largely irrelevant to Hatton P4P status!!!! Its already been gone over in any case. I just though I'd attach the caveat at the end of my post to head off "the usual suspects"....;o)

Who has Hatton Beat apart from Tszyu to justify P4P status?

It''s no coincidence that Mayweather and Hoya enjoy fighting Hatton.... he's seen as easy money.... little guy with big following... Also the fact that he'll be in America means his rough house tactics have more chance of being pulled up.

List P4P fighters Hatton has beat. I say an old Tszyu and a washed up Castillo... both at 140... he was lucky against Collazo and had good wins against other nobodies. He was dismantled by Mayweather.... other fighters like Castillo (prime) had taken Mayweather the distance. This to me suggest Hatton status in some peoples P4P top 10.... is only due to his support and money he brings to fights.... which obviously lead tobig names wanting him....particularly as he is also going to pose little threat. If I was Mayweather or Hoya I'd love to fight a guy like Hatton...easy money.... that's why Mayweather said he'd love to fight Hatton again after the 1st fight.

If he beats Maliggnagi easily even then he shouldn't be top 10.... let him beat Bradley and then he might deserve a place.

So after beating Edner Cherry, Bradley is the main man at 140 these days?

He beat Witter too remember. Don't do a Ricky on us and pretend like he does not exist.

I'd say he's upcoming man, that is doing the most eye catching things in the division recently. That counts for something. The man? No.

That is undecided. I would wait for the winner of Hatton-Malignaggi and then maybe for the winner to face Bradley before declaring anybody the man. Or the woman, in Paulie's case

I thought the Witter win was just an off night for Junior, easily avenged when he gets the chance?:huh

Wouldn't say easy. That kid Bradley is alright, although not that amazing. I'd give Witter a good chance as far as rematches go.

A win is a win however. He has that on his record.

I think Witter would win a rematch

you obviously dislike Hatton for some reason. The lad can only fight what is in front of him. He's chased big fights and fell short against the p4p number one but gave him as floyd said the hardest fight of his career. He didn't just beat Castillo, he annhialated him. He battered tyszu into submission and lucky or not he beat Collazo on a bad day and i think that in itself defines a great fighter. the ability to win on a bad day.
Collazo was at a new weight, in a new country, a southpaw, a world champion and the fight was arranged with little notice as lazcano had pulled out. Bear in mind that Hatton was due to fight Lazcano at 140 he had a couple of weeks to add the extra 7 lbs. so he was way out of shape on the night. Bad management and poor timing but it was still a victory.
Hatton unified in his first defence at 140 against a dangerous maussa who was touted for big things and he won every round against urango who's stock has risen and should continue too.
Give the little man a break. He's been an excellent ambassador for the sport and nation and thoroughly deserves the acclaim, limelight and at least a top15 lb for lb badge.

Well how many p4p top ten guys has the current p4p no3 beat - if that is your criteria for making p4p top ten?

Bradley has only ever beat 2 guys ranked in the top 50 at Junior welter - and now you say he is the benchmark.
