I dont think theres much doubt that calzaghe is the more accomplished and respected fighter of the two.
But i do think that hatton has BETTER wins on his record than calzaghe does.
This is partly due to his mad fan base and popularity getting him the bigger fights but nonetheless i think he has better wins than calzaghe does.

Who do you think has the better WINS and a better resume?
Dont forget hattons two losses have come against the two best fighters of this era

Kessler and Hopkins over any two on Hatton's resume. Calzaghe by far. Urango and Collazo are good names but not great.

Surely he's referring to Kostya Tszyu, that is a great win. Paulie also had only one loss at that time.

Kostya Tszyu is Hatton's best win no doubt

I assume it's opponents beaten, opponents faced isn't even a question surely.

Hatton fought a shot Kostya Tszyu, prime PBF, and prime Manny

    Calzaghe fought faded B-Hop

    Hatton has the better resume.

Forgot about Kosta Zoo, but Calzaghe still has a better resume based on wins.

Wasn't Zoo the favorite? Hatton last to PBF and MP. Calzaghe beat Hopkins who later went on to beat Pavlik and Shot Jones Jr. Calzaghe>Hatton. I like Hatton a little more though for some reason. Want to see Hatton back in the ring.

    i meant opponents beaten.
Kostya tzyu was a great win, better than any calzaghe wins i think.

Also being the only man to KO castillo, is pritty much on the same level as beating an old hopkins i think.

Also his wins over urango (unbeaten at the time), calozzo (1 loss at the time), paulie (1 loss at the time) are just as good as other big wins calzaghe had.

On that balance i think hattons wins are better

Corrales stopped Castillo, Castillo retired against Gomez, he also was stopped about 4 times in his career early on but on cuts I believe.

Soto ****ed him up, I think he was on his feet though. Was a legit stoppage, not cuts.

Hatton fought prime Pacquiao and Mayweather.

Calzaghe fought forty somethings Jones and Hopkins.
