While you had to give up your work and all the overtime you stuck in trying to convince everyone Joe Calzaghe was some kind of fraud - when he reitired after the Roy Jones fight cementing his legacy as a British Boxing Legend and undefeated - 46 wins 0 losses - and proving you totally wrong.

Hall Of Fame - Joe Calzaghe.

    ATG - Joe Calzaghe.

    Give it up Jon Oli.

    Calzaghes legend is cemented.

And threads like this can not take away from Joes greatness no matter if he would have probaly lost...............

Your warped obsession with Calzaghe was noticed by my brother Fat Joe.

And I can confirm my brother is back on the forum under a new username.

And he will rip Jon Oli for any slander against Calzaghe.

Calm down, it was a little joke, the ESSO tiger in the 80s used to be all over the place, it seemed forever on the TV at one point and there were huge bill boards of a big tiger head all over the place, that's why I mentioned ESSO.

Please don't get me started on the Enzo vs prime Tyson type threads...

If the Hitman Hatton or the Mancunian Mexican has in fact retired then I want to go on record to congratulate him for an excellent career. I will never forget the night he retired the great Kostya Tyzu who was a better technical fighter and puncher than him. His will power and swarming relentless pressure broke Tyzu will. That was Hatton at his very best. It was as great a performance I have seen from a british fighter up there with Honeyghan versus Curry, Turpin versus the Great Sugar Ray Robinson, Benn versus McClellan etc. Technically Hatton like Jeff Fenech was not my cup of tea style wise but boy o boy what an entertainment. He earned my respect by leaving his comfort zone and going to the US to fight the likes of Castillo, PBF and Pacman. He fought the best, beat the best and lost only to the very best. In my opinion whilst Witter may have been able to give him some problems he would have beaten Witter both of them at their very best. We will definitely miss him. He was and remains a great lad. Very down to earth and personable.

    Great tribute Olu. :good

I'm convinced he'll fight again though, won't be able to resist it if Khan carries on winning, probably in a couple of years when it'll be a real disaster.

That was a time I hoped he would fight again but not anymore tempting though it would be to see him knock out Khan, but never mind the likes of Ajose, Paul McCloskey, Desert Storm Tim Bradley, Maidana and Deveon the Great Alexander will take care of Khan.

I wish him the best with his promotional efforts at least this way he remains actively involved in the game giving opportunities to other fighters particularly in Britain.
