Well if you come across relentless, o Foquinha and Scurluntings you'll definately get the feeling they don't like hatton.

So Hattons daddy Ray couldnt agree terms. It makes me wonder if team Hatton wanted the lions share of the purse, even though Rees is a champion.
Team hatton should realise Hatton will never be the box office he once was, due to him losing his 0, & the ridiculous hype that goes along with an unbeaten record on these shores.
Im sick of seeing stories bout how team Hatton want the lions share of the money when facing opponents who have the belts.

Thats why I have never been a Hatton fan, his arrogance, his familys arrogance & his nuthuggers arrogance has always boiled my blood.

Cant Hatton & his fans just admit to themselves that as he has lost, he should be just happy to get a shot at another mans belt straight away, instead of demanding the superstar treatment? After all, hes not a superstar anymore. He needs to build himself up again & stop acting like a diva.

I can agree that Hatton should be happy to get a shot at another mans belt....but regardless of your obvious dislike for Hatton its as plain as the nose on your face(if you have one,if not apologies) that he is the person the networks and PPV audience want to see above Gavin,Paulie or Junior even though he has lost his '0',and to believe otherwise is ****ing dumb....

He has lost his "0" we hatton fans can deal with that but he his recognised as the champ at 140 by the ring magazine. He will still be a draw in the UK and his next fight will sell out. Is popularlity is just not in manchester it is everywhere in UK. I mean I was in vegas for the fight and even when he was getting his arse handed to him everybody in the crowd were apprecating what he had been through. Also Hatton is still a bigger draw than Witter and thats all that matters.

Thats some brash statements from you there JohnB, that his next fight will "sell out" How can you be so sure?
Remember, your average Hatton fan isnt a true boxing fan, & the reason the crowd were still cheering on regardless was that they just expected Hatton to win, & werent paying much attention to what was happening in the fight.
& wether he is a bigger draw or not than Witter, Hatton is now the man on the outside looking in.
& thats what I am saying, Hatton isnt the unbeaten box office star he once was & should give Witter & Rees their respect as champions.

Im sick of seeing him & his fans think world champions should take the short end of the stick just because he has a big fanbase. When it comes to Ricky Hatton, his fans seem to lose all sense of reality.

& the ironic thing is that Witter has offered to fight Hatton for nothing, & Hatton STILL wont fight him!!! What you got to say to that John B?

Witter wants to fight hatton we get that but witter doesnot want to get paid his bollocks. It his brash all brash. Also I am giving my respect to both witter and rees but hatton is recognized as the champion at 140 isn't he. I mean I am proper boxing fan I even went to the doncaster dome to watch witter against harris and indeed i was impressed. Yes some of the fans in vegas were just casual fans but I saw fans there who were their when he was fighting thaxton and magee also when he fought at oldham leasure centre. If he fights Holt torres or witter in his next fight he will sell out or it will be near capacity.

I don't see how being Ring Magazine's champion entitles you to anything. Since when did that become official?

Hatton has been seen as the best at 140 in the past but after his recent drubbing, he needs to prove himself again. He can do that by snapping Witter or Rees' hand off and beating them handily.

But you know, sometimes a fighter isn't the same after a humiliating loss. All Dunky is saying (and I agree) is that he needs to establish himself again.

I am not saying it entitles you to anything, but all I am saying just because he got beat P4P best that witter would have the same effect that pbf had because him and witter are on different planets boxing wise. You say the Ring belt did not count, well tell that to bernard hopkins because he his recognized champion at LHW and he as not won a belt such as the WBC. :-(
