Hatton was about to get knock out when the referee decide to give him a break in round 10. Pathetic !!!

WOW, this is a completely new topic, I hadn't heard about this! I really must go back and check, the 578 topics just hadn't brought it to my attention at all!

    Shut up.

I couldn't catch this yesterday, so I am anxiously awaiting the Versus re-play at 10 PM E/T. 1 hour to go and I can see all about this **** with Paulie's hair too. LOL. Can't wait.

I'm a Hatton fan, but whats not legit about this thread?

Hatton I felt was recovering from that Lazcano hook, but why in the hell did the ref have to call timeout to admonish Lazcano????

The ref I felt had no good reason to put a halt to the fight like that when Hatton was hurt.

......then, who in the hell untied Ricky Hatton's shoes to buy more time so that he could recover fully??

I did'nt tape the fight, but can someone review that 10th round, and check to see when Hatton's shoes become untied?

Were they untied before Hatton got caught by that Lazcano hook?

....if not, there were some shenanigans going on with that Hatton corner untieing Hatton's shoes while the ref admonished Lazcano.

Hatton was in a neutral corner....I think he may of untied his laces himself with his boxing gloves on.

If Hatton somehow managed to untie his shoe laces wilst wearing boxing gloves, while none of the world wide cameras or 50 odd thousand people in the crowd noticed and while being up "***** street" and near unconscious at the same time; he deserves a 20 second break.

That's not true, although the two Versus commentators misled us into believing it.

When I watched I replay, with the sound turned down because of Charles and Matthews annoying commentary, I saw what really happened in the 10th round.

Hatton was momentarily stunned, but had recovered by the time Lazcano pushed him down and hit him in the back. The ref broke them up and admonished Lazcano some 10-12 seconds after Hatton was stunned.

Hatton walked briskly to the neutral corner, not appearing to be at all hurt! He held up his leg because his shoelace was really untied, he wasn't trying to buy time!

Watch a replay with Charles and Matthews biased anti-Hatton commentary turned down.

The ref didnt stop de fight because of the shoe. The shoe was the second excuse.

So how do you think the lace became untied?
