It wouldn't surprise me if he gets the IBO title for free in return for a bit of publicity generation.

If he does pay a fee, why not just drop the ****ing thing and give the sanctioning fee to a deserving charity, such as the British Heart Foundation or Cancer Research??

If the British ones had been for domestic titles, and Europeans likewise - nobody would criticise too much, nor if the bouts against Americans been 10 rounders on the undercard of a major fight here or abroad, but because it was for the WBU title he cops it (and rightly so).

The Junior Witter interview on youtube is class when he takes the **** out of the WBU belt, Hatton's face is a picture (this is from a guy who rates but hates Witter!)

Technically it is a unification fight, but it was a stupid thing to say.....

 

Fifth? When did we get a fourth? For them to become recognised they would at least have to enforce mandatories. No way would any fighter worth his salt allow the IBO to dictate his challenger. Notice how all those above fighters hold one of the three proper belts alongside it.
