This Hatton come-back probably destroys the last little hope of a Calzaghe-Ward fight.

Hatton has no self-control, and will loose hard.

Calzaghe on the other hand had good self-control and kept in weight between fights etc.. he could come back and we a force.

But when he and his people (and UK TV) sees how Hatton is getting demolished... noone will want Joe to come back.

    A shame.

With his style and the way he lived during retirement it's almost inevitable. I suspect Ricky won't like how he fought in his comeback that he will just hang them back up. But it's hard to know for sure since Ricky and his fans can be a bit delusional about his ability and prospects. I hope for the best for him, though.

Calzaghe would not be a force. Calzaghe wasn't even a force in his prime, let alone when he's 40. You do not know what you're talking about. He may be relatively better than Hatton, though for the reasons you mentioned. Why would Calzaghe fans want Calzaghe to come back and have Ward embarrass him? Calzaghe is undefeated for a reason... he is far smarter than that.

Sorry. But "Calzaghe wasn't even a force in his prime" is just a uninformed comment.

I suppose this means we're going to be subjected to another endless rendition of "there's only one ricky hatton". Jesus I hate that song.
