Hatton sounds like he will not retire, also think Dempsey a top boxing man, Hatton is in absolute pieces feel gutted for him and was never really a fan

It will be tough to go to Iggy Igloo's back yard and get a decision. Especially for the WBA (Wont Bother Abroad)

Cards 78-74, 77-76x2 all for Hatton. Surprisingly fair.

Sad stuff. Ricky was devastated and to be finished by a left hook to the body was a poorly written script.

Hatton needs to call it a day. Nothing changed, he was the same style, mauling and brawling and struggling to push around and hurt a welterweight.

As he got tired and sloppier, I hoped he could win a close fight and then retire.

Knew that was gonna happen. Ain't ever bet on boxing, but got a nice little 90 quid out of that.

I don't know why anyone thought he would come back after treating his body like that.

I sadly called a Senchenko win, earlier today...

But I hope Hatton got a final buzz out of this. He was British boxing in the mid period of the last decade, and I hope he has 'turned his life around' and can bow out and live with this initial disappointment. Hopefully he can now go forward with his life. Considering what he had gone through in recent years, he was in cracking condition, for this fight.

It was arrogance really that did him in

should have been a 6 rounder against a domestic opponent

    but there you go

That was painful to watch. Ricky needs professional help asap.

I actually think this might be a good thing. If Ricky had won he would have been looking for world title fights and he really shouldn't be going anywhere near harder punchers than Senchenko. Only Malignaggi would have been a 'safe' fight. But the thing is he just shouldn't be in the ring. Period.
