I just think the Lazcano fight is a joke.

I have no problem with any of the other names mentioned, but think we are getting back to the WBU days to be honest.

At least the WBU days cannot be blamed on Hatton, but this one will be entirely.

I'm cutting him some slack for Lazcano as a first fight back after Mayweather, he's also fought decent opposition for the last 3 years or so since leaving Warren, but if the next opponent isn't something to shout about then theres no excuses.

Maybe on par with DH as both beat champs who were past their prime in Tzyu and Mormeck. Then again DH is exciting and does not hug for half the fight.

 

is lazcano a done deal then? i thought there was supposed to be an official official confirmation at the end of last week, but didn't hear anything.

i know this is the most likely opponent and this has come from the horses mouth, but i'm not sure if its been fully ok'd by the tv people...
