Damn straight he did. Ricky is gonna get his ass handed to him by Floyd. It's gonna be like a Mayweather - Gatti re-run.

Strange that he was sparring with a southpaw, floyd dont switch hit much, but yeah he did get out boxed, but I dont think we expect hatton to outbox floyd do we?! Anyway, its only sparring, I think it would be naieve to read too much into it

i think i'd wait for the actual action before i started making predictions, Ricky has shocked me many times by looking horrible in preparation, then like a monster in the actual fight.. He looked stale before Pendleton then gave him the beating of his life.. Given that Freddie was old at the time , but even so he was no joke either..

hatton better come out dirty and ruff up pbf.thats his only chance.but i see this fight like all the other guys that pressure pbf.

i still think pbf style is more of problem for hatton then vice verca.

if ricky tries to box mayweather he'll lose bad. and im a fan of his! he has to go in there and maul, brawl, etc. cause trying to jab with mayweather etc will be suicide hands down.

that's his only hope. also work on his stamina so he can simply outland mayweather over 12 rounds. mayweather will have a far higher connect percentage, but if hatton throws non stop he'll do enough to win via points. mayweather has shown a descrease in punch output over the years. part delicate hands, part going up in weight. so if hatton can throw constantly whether it hits the elbows, gloves, arms, chest etc. he might very well beat mayweather via decision. but only if he stays busy the whole time.

There was a screaming in the background which sounded very much like Hatton's. Obviously not only his fighting skills have found successors lol

yeah its not like ricky was really trying to maul the guy so i don't read much into this anyways. i'd say his effort level looked to be about 20%. One thing though he was getting tagged with the upper cut on the way in. look for floyd to be doing that all night.

Hatton would get outboxed by any slick fighter any. He's one way, straight foward.
