Can't wait for this fight. Hatton's going to be so motivated, so determined in there, it's gonna be great to see.

I think PBF will be exposed against Hatton because of his (non)desire to fight

If Ricky doesnt get caught too much coming in he wins- thats the key to the fight

I admit, Hatton does make a good point -- he really is good at pressure fighting, and Mayweather really does dislike pressure most of all, it's just that no one has been able to do it well enough, although Castillo came close. I think this will be an interesting fight, but I still see a UD for Mayweather.

The only reason sports writers aren't giving Hatton less than a fighting chance is because he is from across the pond. They don't want a brit or anyone else from another country beating an american champ, much less the pound for pound champ. And if the writers happen to be black, whooooaaa!!! Then they are really going to give him really lousy chances. Not being rascist or anything, but that is how media in general works here.

Mayweather better not start late like he did against DLH or he is going to lose, or be given a bogus hometown decision.

One thing, it will not be a huge upset in boxing history if Hatton wins.

Another thing, he can talk all of his ****, but when it is all said and done he will lose and get embarassed.

PBF is a great in fight adjuster and has showed so.....Hatton on the other hand has never had to adjust in fight and that will be a big difference....when he actually sees and feels the speed of PBF....im telling you his timing will be thorwed off completely he has never seen this type of speed not even close nor footwork to keep from being trapped....yea i know haters call it running ...i dont but call it whatever you want PBF is a mastermind getting out of trouble and staying in the center of the ring.

I dont know where you get Hatton having more than one gameplan from the man simply comes at you and is looking to pound your ass into the canvas...pressure..thats all this man knows....look at what he said call me mr. pressure...he has no plan B or C.

Sports Writers do not give him a chance because Hatton just can not and will not outbox PBF now in a slugfest and stand and trade PBF loses quickly but outright boxing he cant do with PBF....he has NO JAB and when applying pressure...good affective pressure against someone like PBF you need the JAB like Cas did like ODH did both taller longer fighters...Hatton doesnt have the reach advantage which is not that big a deal except if you are trying to use a good jab when comming in....Hatton has no reach and no jab and that is why when he comes in PBF hits and moves maybe 1 - 3 punches hell he may even throw thorough combos on in and move...unlikely but maybe. Hatton thinks applying pressure on PBF is whats going to crack him...to be honest i dont think Hatton undersetimates PBF's talents.....i do think he doesnt realize how AFFECTIVE PBF really is with his talents....and in that ring im telling you Hattons timing will be grossly off and will be reduced to stalking and not doing much...may look exactly like the ODH fight but worse because he wont use the jab.

If you really believe this, then you are truly ignorant of the fight game. I just looked at a pole on ESPN's website and no less than 73% picked Floyd(the figure dropped to 69% for the international votes). Pretty much every pole from numerous other websites have similar numbers. This tells me that most people, not just writers, aren't giving Hatton much of a chance. Any objective observer can see that Floyd is the more talented fighter, and therefore will be a relatively big favorite. I can guarentee Floyd will be the betting favorite all over the world.

Agreed. But when was the last time you saw Floyd get hit repeatedly with clean body shots?

DLH and Castillo managed it, just not enough -- I think Hatton can do a better job.

I'd say about 99% of American boxing 'writer' (cheerleaders) think Floyd will win easily, how is that close to 73% or 69% thinking Floyd will win???.As for the bookmaking odds they are pretty close the Kessler Calzaghe fight with Floyd slightly better fave than Calzaghe is in his respective fight. The American cheerlaeders are calling one a pick'em fight and the other a one-sided beat down, lol.
