After the fight, hatton seems to be more concerned about the referee and the elbows than the outcome of the fight. judging from his comments on skysports, he is in a little bit of denial.

i dont blame a guy whos never lost in his life to be in some denial.... their fighters, its rare to find a guy like kessler who just so willingly and openly admits they arent good enough to beat the other guy...

I was about to post the same thing.

Both fighters have nothing but respect for each other, and that's great to see.

He was being a sour puss right after the fight. Understandable after being schooled thoroughly.

He said he couldnt complain about mayweathers use of elbows ect because he would do the same to him if he had the chance, you perhaps only saw the larry merchant interview, he has done tons since where he gave plenty credit.
The fact that he made a self depricatng joke to larry about it being a fluke was acknowledgement in itself.

Hatton should have cranked Mayweather's nuts at least twice to satisfy me that he did all that he could.

Hattons fould were dangerous ones. Those back of the head, and kidney punches were alot worse than some elbows.
I thought Hatton took it as well as can be expected for a man who was K.O'd after 43 straight victories, and a whole country behind him.
Honestly I would have behaved alot worse.
I mean I would have wanted to do the right thing, But knowing me there would have been some name calling, some excuse making, and possibly some outside of the ring violence.

Dont look so much into every single word out of a fighters mouth after a big fight......

Hatton said, "he proved he was the best p4p" what more credit do you want from Hatton?

In the heat of the battle, I guess, the animal instinct of survival takes over. It's still a surprise there's not a lot more of ear biting.

Yeah he was acting like a punk. Even after Mayweather gave him more credit than he deserved and acted with great conduct.

Yeah that's all good when he's cooled off and collected, but I'm referring to how he was trying to make excuses by saying that Mayweather cheated right after the fight.
